The Vienna Awards for Fashion and Lifestyle are dedicated to special achievements in Austrian fashion and fashion design. The awards were initiated by Marjan Firouz in 2009. Each year the ceremony constitutes a prestigious event in the center of Vienna, hosted by major television stars from Germany and Austria such as Sonya Kraus, with performances of up-coming singers such as Nevena Tsoneva. The winners of the international categories Style Icon and Global Citizen are invited to participate as honorary guests of the ceremony. There are also other stars coming to Vienna to participate. Selection, campaign

The winners are selected according to the structure developed by the Academy Awards. The winners of the previous three years select the winner of this year. There are only exceptions for the categories Best Designer, Tribute to Fashion & Lifestyle, Best Model and Style Icon who are selected by a committee.

Since 2011 the event is promoted every year with a theme campaign closely related to the city of Vienna and its history. In 2011, this fashion shooting was dedicated to the landmark Riesenrad and in 2012 to the beloved St. Stephen's Cathedral. In 2013, Emma Heming-Willis was invited to star as Empress Elisabeth of Austria . In 2014, Jerry Hall performed as a modern Queen of the Night from Mozarts The Magic Flute .

The 2nd Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis and Telenor Talkshawlk, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2013. The ceremony took place on 29 March 2014 at Expo Center in Karachi, Sindh beginning at 7:30 PST. The ceremony was recorded and was broadcast on 25 May 2014. Austria participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Rise Like a Phoenix", written by Charlie Mason, Joey Patulka, Ali Zuckowski and Julian Maas. The song was performed by Conchita Wurst, the drag stage persona of Tom Neuwirth, who had risen to fame after taking part in an Austrian talent show in 2011 and attempting to represent Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. In September 2013 the Austrian broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) announced that they had internally selected Wurst to compete at the 2014 contest in Copenhagen, Denmark, with her song presented to the public in March 2014.

The ARY Film Awards, commonly known as The AFA's, is an annual Pakistani awards ceremony honoring the cinematic achievements of film industry. Winners are awarded the golden statue, officially the ARY Film Award of Merit, that is much often known as an AFA trophy. The awards, first presented in 2014 at Golf Club, Karachi, are overseen and organized by ARY Digital Network and Entertainment Channel. The 2014 Teen Choice Awards ceremony was held on August 10, 2014 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The event was originally scheduled to take place at the UCLA Pauley Pavilion, which was flooded by a broken water pipe on July 29, 2014 near the campus. It was broadcast on Fox at 8:00–10:00 pm ET live/PT tape-delayed. Italy participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Grande amore", written by Ciro Esposito and Francesco Boccia. The song was performed by the male operatic pop trio Il Volo. Italian broadcaster RAI announced in September 2014 that the winning performer(s) of the Sanremo Music Festival 2015 would have the right to represent the nation at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. The selected performer would also be given the right to choose their own song to compete with at Eurovision. In February 2015, Il Volo emerged as the winners of Sanremo with the song "Grande amore". The trio accepted the invitation to represent Italy at Eurovision and decided that "Grande amore" would be their contest entry.

Julia Spicker is an Austrian photographer. She is well known for her pictures of self-confident women, but covers a broad range of portrait and fashion photography.

The 3rd Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis and Telenor, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2014 and took place on 9 April 2015, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE at 8:30 p.m. UAE Standard Time and was televised on 23 May at 7:30 p.m. PST. During the ceremony, HTNEC presented Hum Awards in 25 categories along with 3 in honorary and 2 in special categories. The ceremony, televised in Pakistan by Hum TV, was produced and directed by Nazeer Saeed Janjua while executive produced by Maimona Siddiqui.
