View Media Group was founded in August 2022, as a privately held company previously registered as IMP [7] .VMG is owned by 20 Cashews Pty Ltd, an entity which is jointly owned 50% by Antony Catalano and 50% by Alex Waislitz’s private Thorney Investment Group and the publicly listed Thorney Opportunities Ltd. In 2022 VMG acquired the proptech companies The Today Business (TTB), [9] [10] and AD Group [11]
Following launch, Seven West Media via its Seven West Ventures subsidiary and ANZ Group Holdings Ltd (ANZ), [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] [17] obtained equity in VMG. The combined investment from all parties saw the total cash and media spend available to VMG of over $100 million. [9]
