Vikki Slowe (born 1947 in London, England) is a British printmaker and painter. [1] [2] [3]
Slowe produced etchings. [4] She illustrated the book Purple & Green: Poems by Thirty-Three Women Poets. [5] [6] Slowe's works are held in the collections of the Ben Uri Gallery & Museum. [7] and the Imperial Health Charity Art Collection. [8] Her artworks have received coverage in the Summer Exhibition of the Royal Academy in London [9] (where she exhibited in 1973, 1975, and 1988 [10] ), from the Smithsonian Institution in the United States, [11] and the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. [12] She has received mention in the magazines Ambit , [13] The Artist , [14] and Country Life . [15] She was an Honorary Curator for the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers [16] and a member of the Royal Free Charity Works of Art Committee associated with the Royal Free Hospital in London.
