Vincent Mason (born November 10, 2000) is an American country music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He gained widespread attention in 2024 with the breakout single "Hell Is a Dance Floor" and later released his debut studio album, There I Go, in 2025.
Mason grew up just outside Atlanta, in Roswell, Georgia.[3] While attending King's Ridge Christian School, he received his first guitar during his sophomore year and by his senior year he was taking music more seriously.[4][5] He later attended college, initially through University of Mississippi, where he began writing original songs. At some point he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue music.[6]
Music career
Mason began releasing music in 2022, beginning with independent recordings and steadily working toward a professional career.[7] In 2024, he broke out with the moody single "Hell Is a Dance Floor" that went viral on TikTok.[8] That same year, he released the EP Can't Just Be Me, which he co-wrote and co-produced.[9] Mason signed with a major label partnership with Interscope Records, UMG Nashville, and Music Soup.[10] The next two years, he spent time opening for established country acts like Riley Green, Megan Moroney, and Parker McCollum. On November 7, 2025, Mason released his debut studio album There I Go.[11]
Artistry
Mason has spoken openly about embracing heartbreak, regret, longing, growth.[12] His mother exposed him to pop and singer-songwriter music like Maroon 5, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer. He was eventually intrigued by country and modern country-rock sounds that blends country storytelling and soulful/pop-rock sensibilities.[13]
