Vineyard Records UK (VRUK) is the worship ministry of Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland (VCUKI). [1] It is a not-for profit music label that exists to document and release worship songs that are being written in the Vineyard UK church movement. [2]

Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland is the national body for the Association of Vineyard Churches in the United Kingdom and Ireland. There are more than 100 churches under its direction. The organisation is both a registered charity and a registered company.

History

Originally established in 1998 as Vineyard Music (UK) a division of Vineyard Music worldwide the organisation rebranded in 2005 to become known as Vineyard Records UK. [1] VRUK have released a number of worship albums since 1998, their most well known being the Come Now is the Time to Worship (1998) and Hungry (1999) albums. [3]

Hungry is an album of worship songs from Vineyard UK. It was recorded live in London, England and produced by Brian Doerksen and Nigel Hemming. This particular album is copyrighted by Vineyard Records UK.

Hillsong United is a worship band that originated as a part of Hillsong Church. Formed in 1998 as part of Hillsong's youth ministry, the band consists of several rotating worship leaders from the church, including Joel Houston, Taya Smith-Gaukroger, Matt Crocker, Jonathon Douglass, Jad Gillies and Benjamin Hastings. Due to several songs written by the youth ministry, Hillsong worship leader Darlene Zschech recommended that they record an album, which resulted in their debut extended play, One, which was released alongside the Hillsong Worship album Touching Heaven Changing Earth. Since then, the group has released eleven annual live albums, as well as four studio albums. The band composes songs and performs in church services as well as concerts in worldwide tours.

New Wine organization

New Wine is a family of churches which operates in the United Kingdom. It was established in 1989 as a Christian festival run by Anglican clergy David Pytches and Barry Kissell, who were influenced by the teaching of charismatic pastor John Wimber.
