The Jeff Machado case refers to the death of journalist and actor Jeff Machado at the age of 44. The crime took place in the Campo Grande neighborhood, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in January 2023. His body was discovered on 22 May 2023, buried inside a trunk two meters deep and covered with a thick layer of concrete.
