Vishal Sinha (born 7 March 1975) is an Indian cinematographer who shot Hindi films such as Raanjhanaa, Ab Tak Chhappan, Bhoot and Darna Mana Hai. [1] He debuted as an independent cinematographer with the film Bhoot directed by Ram Gopal Verma, and worked as camera operator in Ketan Mehta's Mangal Pandey: The Rising. Besides feature films, he has also shot many advertising films, documentaries and short films.

It is Akon's first musical collaboration with Indian artists. There are four other versions of the song in the album, including a remix by Abhijit Vaghani, another remix by DJ Khushi and an international version sung solely by Akon. The song, along with the rest of the soundtrack, was officially released on 21 September 2011. However, the song faced controversy when the rough version was leaked on the Internet on 31 May 2011.

The film is produced by Krishika Lulla under the banner Eros International. The lyrics of the original version were written by Irshad Kamil whereas the Tamil lyrics were written by poet Vairamuthu. The soundtrack album features nine original tracks.
