Vishnu Deva (born 18 May 1975) is an Indian choreographer who has worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Bengali and Nepali films. Since 2000, he has choreographed different types of dance styles, and is known for his work on the Bollywood movies Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013), Singh Is Bliing (2015), Baby (2015), R... Rajkumar (2013), Rowdy Rathore (2012), and Dabangg 2 (2012)"paaword"nepali movie. [1]

Early life and career

Born and raised in Chennai, Deva grew up watching his father, a well-known choreographer in Malayalam movies, working on dancing rehearsals, leading him to develop an interest in choreography. In 1995, he began working with choreographers including Chinni Prakash and Tharun Kumar. In 2000, he met and began working with choreographer Ganesh Acharya. In 2002, when Deva was working as an assistant choreographer on Shakti: The Power , he happened to meet choreographer Prabhu Deva, who later asked him to assist in the film Lakshya song "Main Aisa Kyon Hoon". Later, Prabhu Deva offered him solo choreography for the Telugu film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. [2] [3]

Personal life

Deva is the brother of South Indian actress Nalini Ramarajan. He married Kamla Nair, the sister of Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya, [2] on 29 November 1998. The couple has one child, Aishwarya.

Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, also simply known as Ram-Leela, is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language romantic tragedy film written and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who also composed its original soundtrack. The film was jointly produced by Bhansali and Eros International's Kishore Lulla and stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead roles with Priyanka Chopra making a special appearance in the song "Ram Chahe Leela". The supporting cast includes Supriya Pathak, Richa Chadda, Sharad Kelkar, Gulshan Devaiah, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, and Abhimanyu Singh. Based on the tragedy Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Ram-Leela narrates the star-crossed romance between the two eponymous lovers from two gangster families, who fall in love with each other, but are forced to separate due to their families' centuries old rivalry.

Shuddh Desi Romance is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy drama film directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra. It features Parineeti Chopra, Sushant Singh Rajput and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. The story, set in Jaipur, Rajasthan, explores the views of the younger generation on commitment, live-in relationships and arranged marriages as compared to love marriages in small town India. It screened in the Gala Presentation section of the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. Upon release, the film received positive reviews from critics with high praise for Chopra, Rajput and Kapoor's performances and was declared a hit in India by Box Office India.

<i>Comedy Nights with Kapil</i> Indian TV comedy show (2013–2016)

Comedy Nights With Kapil is an Indian Hindi-language sketch comedy and celebrity talk show hosted and produced by comedian Kapil Sharma. It was on-air on Colors TV amid 22 June 2013 to 24 January 2016. Many of the episodes feature celebrity guests who usually appear to promote their latest films in a comedy-focused talk show format. On 25 September 2013, a fire broke out on the sets of the show at Film City in Goregaon causing the entire set to collapse and an estimated loss of 20 Crores. Following the fire, two episodes were shot on sets of Bigg Boss in Lonavla. In September 2013, the show became India's highest rated scripted TV show. At the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year awards, Sharma was awarded the Entertainer of the Year award for 2013.

"Ram Chahe Leela" is a 2013 song from the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela directed and composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The song was sung by Bhoomi Trivedi and was written by Siddharth-Garima and was picturised on Priyanka Chopra.

A stand-alone sequel to the 2013 film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, the film stars Prabhu Deva, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles alongside Sushant Pujari, and is partially inspired by the life account of Suresh Mukund and Vernon Monteiro, played respectively by Dhawan and Pujari, founders of the "fictitious dance crew" The Kings, who went on to win the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego.

Ek Paheli Leela is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller drama film, directed and co-written by Bobby Khan and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. It stars Sunny Leone in the titular lead role with Jay Bhanushali, Rajneesh Duggal, Jas Arora, Mohit Ahlawat and Rahul Dev in pivotal roles. Choreography is done by Ahmed Khan and Jojo Khan.
