Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC) is government engineering College placed at Chandkheda. The college was started in year of 1994 [1] [2] . It is now affiliated with Gujarat Technological University. It is largest GEC college of Gujarat in terms of Students intake.
VGEC was started with objective to give quality engineering education under government [1] . College is expanded its academic program, infrastructure and research to become one of most important government college in Gujarat.
The college gives Undergraduate (B.E.) programs in multiple engineering disciplines as below [3] [4] : Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Information Technology Electronics and Communication Engineering Instrumentation and Control Engineering Chemical Engineering The syllabus will be decided by GTU.
VGEC campus have area of more than 51 acre in Chandkheda. It consists of following [5] [6] : Academic buildings and classrooms Engineering laboratories and workshops Central library Computer centers Seminar halls Sports and student activity facilities.
VGEC have different student clubs participating in robotics, coding, research, entrepreneurship, and cultural activities [7] [8] .
It is part of Gujarat Technological University (GTU). It is got approved by AICTE, Government of India [9] .
