Biography
Originally formed as a school band in 1994, Voicst went on hiatus until 2001, when they decided to revive their band.
In 2002, Voicst kicked off their career with a much anticipated show at the Winston in Amsterdam. After their show they were asked to support various artists, such as Millionaire, Enon, and Mclusky.
In the following years, Voicst opened for other bands like Tenacious D, The Raveonettes, and Nada Surf. Voicst built a solid live reputation and were invited to play at the Noorderslag Festival. The trio won the Essent Award in 2003, and played at major Dutch festivals like Metropolis and Lowlands. The band also traveled to New York City to perform at the CMJ Music Marathon.
Their first official release was in 2003: the six track Eat the Evidence EP, released on the independent Labelman label.
In 2004, the band journeyed back to New York for five weeks where they recorded their album, working with producer Eli Janney (Girls Against Boys), at James Iha's (Smashing Pumpkins) privately owned studio. Because of the long working days (11am to 11pm), their album was aptly titled 11-11 . 11-11 was released Fall 2004 in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain.
The first single released from 11-11 was Dazzled Kids, and was a modest hit. Their follow-up single, Whatever You Want From Life, was used in a Heineken commercial, and was also featured in the video game 2006 FIFA World Cup .
The years after the release of their maiden album would be marked by tours and performances at the many festivals in the Netherlands; their album also won several awards. Voicst embarked on a UK and European tour, during which they supported The Bravery, The Presidents of the United States of America, Juliette and The Licks, The Posies, and others. A remastered version of 11-11 was released in the United States in 2005, followed by Australia in 2006 and Japan in 2007.
Voicst went back to the studios to record their second album A Tale of Two Devils in early 2007. They partnered with Peter Katis (producer for Interpol and The National among others), and Rutger Hoedemaekers from the Dutch band About.
A Tale of Two Devils was released January 11, 2008, the first single Everyday I Work On The Road was released February 2, 2008.
The New Amsterdams is an American band featuring Matthew Pryor of The Get Up Kids. In a certain sense, they represented the acoustic counter-project to The Get up Kids. In contrast to The Get Up Kids, this project features acoustic guitars, the accordion, wind instruments, strings, and mature elements of American folklore. Among the members were also numerous musicians and contributors of The Get Up Kids and other friendly bands.

Mêlée is an American rock band from Orange County in California. Formed in 2000, the band consists of Ricky Sans, Chris Cron, Ryan Malloy and Derek Lee Rock. The group released their debut album Everyday Behavior under Los Angeles-based independent label Subcity Records in 2004. In 2006, they were signed with major record label Warner Bros. Records, and subsequently, in 2007 made their major record label debut Devils & Angels. In 2010, they released their follow up album on Warner titled The Masquerade, released in Japan and digitally in North America.
Delorentos are a Dublin-based Irish alternative rock band, formed in 2005. They consist of Rónan Yourell, Kieran McGuinness, Níal Conlan and Ross McCormick. The band's debut album In Love with Detail was critically acclaimed in Ireland, being nominated for the Choice Music Prize and in the Best Irish Album category at the 2007 Meteor Awards, at which Delorentos were also nominated for Best New Irish Band. Two extended plays have also been released; their debut release, titled Leave It On, in October 2005, and the follow-up EP, titled Do You Realise, came out in November 2007. The Delorentos discography consists of a selection of singles which impacted on the Irish Singles Chart, such as "The Rules" in May 2006 and "Stop" in July 2007.
We the Kings is an American rock band from Bradenton, Florida. Atomic Rooster are a British rock band, originally formed by members of the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, organist Vincent Crane and drummer Carl Palmer. Throughout their history, keyboardist Vincent Crane was the only constant member and wrote the majority of their material. Their history is defined by two periods: the early-mid-1970s and the early 1980s. The band went through radical style changes, but they are best known for the hard, progressive rock sound of their hit singles, "Tomorrow Night" and "Devil's Answer", both in 1971.

Kraak & Smaak is a musical production trio from the town of Leiden, Netherlands, consisting of Oscar de Jong, Mark Kneppers and Wim Plug. The three began recording in 2003. Their first album, titled Boogie Angst, was released in the UK 2006, and they began performing at music festivals and at clubs in the US and UK. Their songs were played on the radio and were used in television shows. Their second album, released in 2008, was titled Plastic People. They won an EBBA. Their third album, Electric Hustle, was released in 2011.
The Dissent of Man is the fifteenth album by American punk rock band Bad Religion, which was released on September 28, 2010. It was their first album in three years, following the release of New Maps of Hell in 2007. The band commenced writing new material in 2008, but would not begin studio work until May 2010. The writing and recording process spanned two years and was slowed down considerably by touring schedules. The album was finally finished in June 2010. Some of the material was originally performed live by Bad Religion on its 30th anniversary tour in early 2010. "The Devil in Stitches" was released as a single to accompany the release of this album, while "Cyanide" and "Wrong Way Kids" also received radio airplay. Clocking in at 43 minutes, The Dissent of Man is Bad Religion's longest album to date.
