Volha Talayeva (born 6 January 1987 in Vitebsk) is a Belarusian short track speed skater.

Talayeva competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics for Belarus. In the 1500 metres she was sixth in her heat, ending up 32nd overall. [1] [2]

As of September 2014, Talayeva's best performance at the World Championships came in 2014, when she finished 31st in the 1500m, and her top World Cup ranking is 38th, in the 1500 metres in 2013–14. [3]

Shannon Rowbury American middle-distance runner

Shannon Rowbury is an American middle-distance runner from San Francisco, California. After competing collegiately for Duke University, she turned professional in 2007. Rowbury has represented the United States at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Summer Olympics. She also represented the United States at the World Championships in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017, winning the bronze medal in the 1500 meters in 2009. In 2015, Rowbury helped set the world record with the U.S. team for the distance medley relay event, and set a then-American record for 1500 meters on July 17, 2015, breaking Mary Slaney's 32 year-old mark with a time of 3:56.29.

She is a two-time world champion after winning the 5000m in 2017 and again in 2019, when she set a new championship record. Obiri also took bronze for the 1500 metres in 2013 and silver in the 10,000m in 2022. She won the 3000 metres race at the 2012 World Indoor Championships, claimed silver in 2014, and placed fourth in 2018. Eilish McColgan is a Scottish middle- and long-distance runner. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games 10,000 metres champion with the Games record, and 5000 metres silver medallist. McColgan is a four-time European Championships medallist, winning silver medals for the 5000m in 2018 and 10,000m in 2022, bronze in the 5000m in 2022, and a bronze for the indoor 3000 metres in 2017. She holds the European record in the 10 km road race, and British records for the 5000m, 5 km and half marathon. She also holds the European best in the 10 miles on the roads.

Zoe Buckman is an Australian runner who has competed nationally and internationally in the 400 metre, 800 metre, 1,500 metre and 5,000 metre events. She ran for the University of Oregon. She has also competed at the Junior World Championships, the Australian National Championships, the 2012 Summer Olympics, and the 2013 IAAF World Athletics Championships where she was a finalist in the Women's 1500 metres, the 2016 Olympics, the 2017 World Championships and 2018 Commonwealth Games.

In the 500 metres she came in fourth in her heat, in the 1000 metres she was third in her heat, and in the 1500 metres, she finishing fourth in her heat. Her best individual finish was in the 1000m, where she was 21st.
