Volumia! was a band from Heerlen, Netherlands. They started as a cover band and later developed an original repertoire of Dutch songs. The band existed from 1993 until 2002. They reached the Dutch Top 40 many times, scored a number of awards and golden records.
After 2002 several band members started a solo career. Lead singer Xander de Buisonje launched a solo CD in the Netherlands and Belgium. Saxophone player Harold Mingels from The Hague played with the Crazy Piano's and later on in his own group The Corona's. Singer Tamara Hoekwater presented several programs for TV network L1, sang with the Big Bands Swing Design with Greg Walker (Santana) and The Jack Million Band in Northern America. Today she lives in Amsterdam and performs jazz music.

La Bottine Souriante is a folk band from Canada. The band specializes in traditional French Canadian folk music, often with a modern twist.
Clouseau is a Belgian pop group, having success in Belgium and the Netherlands since being established in the late 1980s. Apart from a brush with English material in the early 1990s they perform in Dutch. Their biggest hits are "Daar gaat ze" and "Passie".
Flairck was a Dutch musical ensemble formed in 1978 by guitar virtuoso Erik Visser. and multi-instrumentalist Peter Weekers. The group had varying members dependent on the project. Their musical style was a blend of folk music, jazz and classical chamber music, with touches of blues. The music written by the members of the ensemble was often centred on an album theme and as played with a wide variety of acoustic instruments.
Constantinos Christophorou is a Greek-Cypriot singer. He represented Cyprus in Eurovision Song Contest as a solo singer with "Mono Yia Mas" (1996) and "Ela Ela " (2005) and as part of the boy band formation One with "Gimme" (2002).
Vengaboys is a Dutch Eurodance music group based in Rotterdam consisting of lead vocalist Kim Sasabone, female vocalist Denise van Rijswijk and male vocalists Robin Pors and Donny Latupeirissa. Created by Dutch producers Wessel van Diepen and Dennis van den Driesschen, the group enjoyed commercial success in the late 1990s. They are best known for their hit singles "We Like to Party", "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!", and "We're Going to Ibiza", the latter two of which topped the UK Singles Chart and have sold an estimated 25 million records worldwide.
Gerrit-Jan Mulder, known professionally as Brainpower, is a Dutch rapper. Born in Belgium, he grew up in the Netherlands. Since 1990, he has released six studio albums.
Kirill "Kirka" Babitzin was one of the most commercially successful Finnish musicians. His career spanned from the late 1960s until his death in 2007.
Ilse Annoeska de Lange, better known as Ilse DeLange, is a Dutch country and pop rock singer-songwriter. In 1998, she gained fame with her single 'I'm Not So Tough', which later became multiple platinum in The Netherlands. Other hits were "Miracle", "So Incredible" and "The Great Escape".
BZN was a Dutch pop group that had a string of hits from 1966 to 2007 on. BZN recorded mostly in English and French, but also had success with material in Dutch and German.
Suzanna Lubrano is a Cape Verdean Zouk singer based in Rotterdam. Several albums have gone Gold and Platinum, while she has won major international music awards.
TMF was a 24-hour music channel operated by Viacom International Media Networks in the Netherlands. The channel was previously in every standard TV package, but it ceased operating on 1 September 2011. The channels operations were based in Amsterdam. The channel was previously known as TMF6 and TMF9.
Piet Goddaer is a Belgian musician, better known by his stage name Ozark Henry. As of June 2020, he has released nine studio albums under the name Ozark Henry. In 2001, he released the album To All Our Escapes under the name Sunzoo Manley, a collaboration with Frank Deruytter.

Raymond "Rea" Michael Garvey is an Irish singer, songwriter and guitarist now residing in Germany. In 1998, he formed the band Reamonn. Over the 11 years that Garvey was their frontman, they saw chart-topping success in Europe, with a number of gold and platinum selling albums, Tuesday, Dream No. 7, Beautiful Sky, Wish and Eleven and several sold out European tours. In 2010, after the release of the band's best-of album/DVD "Eleven", and a best-of tour, the band parted ways. Garvey took this time to pursue a solo career, which gave birth to his first solo album "Can't Stand the Silence" in 2011. This album saw Garvey's transition from anthem rock with Reamonn, to alternative electro pop.
The Grote Prijs van Nederland is a series of music awards handed out yearly since 1983 to recognize talented new Dutch musicians, both solo artists and bands. It is the largest and longest-running pop music competition in the Netherlands. Previous winners include producer Junkie XL, rock band Green Lizard, rapper Brainpower, pop group Volumia! and singer-songwriter Signe Tollefsen.
Tamara Tessa Eleonora Hoekwater is a Dutch singer who performs in Dutch and English. She studied at the Maastricht Academy of Music. From 1992 until 2002 she was the lead singer of pop band Volumia!
