Voz e Violão – No Recreio – Volume 1 os the fourth live album by Brazilian singer-songwriter Nando Reis. The album features only Reis, [1] without his supporting band Os Infernais. The performance was captured in an April night at Citibank Hall in São Paulo, with an attendance of 3,7 thousand people. [2]
Nando Reis is a Brazilian musician and producer, best known as the former bassist and one of the lead singers of Brazilian rock band Titãs and for his successful solo career, with his own band called Os Infernais. He has also produced a few albums, including some related to Cássia Eller, who has made several significant partnerships with him, and Marisa Monte. In 2012, Nando Reis was listed among the top ten Brazilian artists at the ECAD list of artists who earned the most from copyright in the first semester of that year. In 2016, he was at the 15th position, besides being 6th in the ranking of earnings from live performances and topped the ranking of earnings from music played in public places.
Nando Reis e Os Infernais is a Brazilian rock band founded by Nando Reis. It is the band that plays with him in studio and during live performances for his solo albums. From MTV Ao Vivo on, all albums by Nando Reis started being credited to both him and the band. Before the band was officially founded, keyboardist Alex Veley and guitarist Walter Villaça had already worked with Nando in his solo album Para Quando o Arco-Íris Encontrar o Pote de Ouro, which was recorded in Seattle.
Citibank Hall is a music theatre in the Santo Amaro neighbourhood, city of São Paulo, Brazil. It opened in January 2000, with capacity for 7,000 people. Considered to be one of the largest indoor entertainment venues in Brazil and one of the largest in Latin America. The 60th anniversary Miss Universe 2011 pageant was held on September 12 that year at the hall.
The idea of making an album in this format came in February 2015 after Reis took part of the project Sala de Estar (Living Room), at SESC Pompeia, in which he performed four times with his acoustic guitar only. [3] He describes the experience of having decided the tracks of the album as follows: "I revisited some songs, in terms of hearing, of looking at my own discography. I listened to some songs again". Oe of the song is previously unreleased: "Diariamente", written by him, bit originally featured at Marisa Monte's 1991 album Mais . [2]

As of 2011, she had sold 10 million albums worldwide and has won numerous national and international awards, including four Latin Grammys, seven Brazilian MTV Video Music Awards, nine Multishow de Música Brasileira awards, 5 APCAs, and six Prêmio TIM de Música. Marisa is considered by Rolling Stone Brasil to be the second greatest singer, behind only Elis Regina. She also has two albums on the list of the 100 best albums of Brazilian music.
Mais is an album by Brazilian singer Marisa Monte, released in 1991. By the time of the album's release, newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo praised the album, saying Monte was "less dramatic, with her voice even more tuned and crystalline, which seemed impossible, Monte even commoves. And, definitely, enters the pantheon of the titans, in all senses."
