The Vuelta a Venezuela (English: Tour of Venezuela) is a men's multi-day road cycling race held annually in Venezuela. [1] The race carries a UCI rating of 2.2 and is part of the UCI America Tour, which is one of six UCI Continental Circuits sponsored by the Union Cycliste Internationale, the sport's international governing body. The event is organized by the Federacion Venezolana de Ciclismo.

José Rodolfo Serpa Pérez is a Colombian professional road racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Continental team GW–Shimano. He rode for UCI Professional Continental cycling team Androni Giocattoli–Venezuela for seven years, before signing a contract with Lampre–Merida for the 2013 season.
Marlon Alirio Pérez Arango is a Colombian former professional road bicycle racer. Pérez previously rode for UCI ProTour team Caisse d'Epargne.
Vacansoleil–DCM Pro Cycling Team was a Dutch professional road race cycling team. They were a UCI ProTeam and competed in the UCI World Tour. The team was established in 2005, as the successor of P3 Transfer-Batavus, while also taking over many of the riders and staff of Cycle Collstrop, the former team of manager Van der Schueren. Neither Vacansoleil or DCM renewed their sponsorship of the program after the 2013 season.
