Vulcan Starship FX6-1995-A is a concrete sculpture in Vulcan, Alberta, Canada, at the corner of Centre Street E, Service Road S, and Highway 23. It is a replica of the starship Enterprise (NCC-1701-A), based on a model used for the 1989 science fiction film Star Trek V: The Final Frontier . It celebrates the coincidal similarity of the town's name to the fictional homeworld of extraterrestrial species of Vulcans from the Star Trek franchise, which includes one the its main characters, Spock. It was unveiled on June 10, 1995.
The sculpture was built by the Vulcan Association of Science and Trek, and unveiled on June 10, 1995. It was placed in front of the Vulcan Tourism and Trek Station, an information centre whcih displays Star Trek memorabilia, celebrating the coincidal similarity fo the town's name to the fictional homeworld of extraterrestrial species of Vulcans, which includes one the franchise'a main characters, Spock. The sculpture took form of a replica of the starship Enterprise (NCC-1701-A), based on a model used for the 1989 film Star Trek V: The Final Frontier . [1]
The sculpture depicts a fictional Constitution-class starship Town of Vulcan (FX6-1995-A). It takes the form of a flying saucer-shaped primary hull mounted on top of a cylindrical secondary hull, with two offset engine nacelles, and is painted in white. It is a replica of the starship Enterprise (NCC-1701-A), based on a model used for the 1989 science fiction film Star Trek V: The Final Frontier . Its name is reference to the year of its unveiling and the Vulcan Airport transport identifier code. The "A" means that it was the town's first Star Trek-themed project. The sculpture is 31 ft (9,45 m) long and 9 ft (2.74 m) tall, with the saucer being 15 ft (4.57 m) wide. [1] [2]
It is mounted on a concrete pedestal measuring 10 ft (3 m) tall. It features plaques greeting visitors to English, as well as fictional scrips of Klingon and Vulcan languages from Star Trek. [2]
The plaque in front features the specifications of the sculpture. It reads:

The left and right sides of the pedestal feature fictional scripts of Klingon and Vulcan. While having no meaning, the insciption below them, claim them to mean respectively "What do you want in Vulcan", and "Welcome to Vulcan". The Klingon script features bold, curved and sharp characters. Vulcan characters are made from a central staff with added spirals, long and short dashes, written top-to-bottom, left-to-right.
The plaque at the back features a greeting to visitors written in English. It reads:
