The AFC Futsal Asian Cup, previously the AFC Futsal Championship, is the premier international futsal competition for the Asian Football Confederation national teams. It was first held in 1999 and was played annually until 2008; since then it has been played biennially. From 2021, the tournament will be rebranded from the "AFC Futsal Championship" to the "AFC Futsal Asian Cup".

Iran national futsal team

The Iran national futsal team represents Iran in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Futsal Commission of the Iranian Football Federation. According to the Futsal World Ranking, it is ranked 6th in the world, and 1st amongst Asian Football Confederation members.

The AMF Futsal World Championships is the international championships for futsal, the indoor version of football organized by FIFUSA (1971–2002) and AMF (2003–present).

The Brazil national futsal team represents Brazil during international futsal competitions. It is under the direction of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). The team is considered to be the strongest in the world earning a record three straight championships in the FIFA Futsal World Cup. Brazil also holds a record twelve championship wins in the South American Futsal Championship also known as the Copa América de Futsal and five wins in the Taça América de Futsal. As of November 2016, Brazil is ranked first in the Futsal World Rankings. Brazil has played in all FIFA Futsal World Cups and has finished in the top three places eight times, which includes the recent Futsal World Cup in 2021.

The South Asian Football Federation Championship, commonly known as SAFF Championship, is the main international association football competition of the men's national football teams governed by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). All seven teams are eligible to compete in tournament.

The Futsal Confederations Cup is a futsal tournament for national teams. It is contested by the winners of each of the six FIFA confederation championships, the winner of the FIFA Futsal World Cup and the host country.

The Lebanon women's national football team is the official women's national football team of the country of Lebanon. The team was established in 2005, and is controlled by the Lebanon Football Association (LFA), the governing body for football in Lebanon. Whilst the team has yet to qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup, or the AFC Women's Asian Cup, they have finished in third place at the 2007 and 2019 editions of the WAFF Women's Championship.

Niloofar Ardalan Iranian footballer

Niloofar Ardalan, also known as Niloofar Ardallani, is an Iranian coach and former player of football and futsal who played in the Iranian women's national football team and the Iranian women's national futsal team and was captain in both teams. She played for the Rah Ahan Football Club team as well as the Futsal Clubs teams of Tejarat Khane Bandar Abbas, Persepolis, and the Islamic Azad University of Tehran.

The national federation became a FIFA affiliate in 1980. The development of women's football in the Middle East and central Asia dates back only about ten years.

2014 WAFF Championship 8th WAFF Championship, held in Qatar between 2013 and 2014

The 2013–2014 West Asian Football Federation Championship was the 8th WAFF Championship, an international tournament for member nations of the West Asian Football Federation. The tournament was hosted by Qatar from 25 December 2013 to 7 January 2014 and the host country won the tournament for the first time. The 2012 champions, Syria, did not defend their title.

Futsal at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics

The futsal competition at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 7 to 18 October. At Tecnópolis and the CeNARD, the first one located in Villa Martelli, and the second one in Buenos Aires. There are two tournaments, one for boys and one for girls.

The Ukraine women's national futsal team represents Ukraine in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Ukrainian Association of Football.

2022 WAFF Womens Futsal Championship International football competition

The 2022 WAFF Women's Futsal Championship is the 3rd edition of the WAFF Women's Futsal Championship, an international women's futsal tournament organised by the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). The tournament is set to be held from 15 to 22 June 2022.
