Asian Football Confederation International governing body for association football, beach soccer, and futsal

The Asian Football Confederation is a governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Guam, a territory of the United States, and the Northern Mariana Islands, 1 of the 2 commonwealths of the United States are also AFC members that are geographically in Oceania. The Asian Ladies Football Confederation (ALFC) is the section of AFC who manage women's association football in Asia. The group was independently founded in April 1968 in a meeting involving Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. In 1986 ALFC merged with AFC.

Iran national under-23 football team, also known as Iran U-23 or Iran Olympic Team; represents Iran in international football competitions in Olympic Games, Asian Games and AFC U-22 Asian Cup, as well as any other under-23 international football tournaments. It is controlled by the Iran Football Federation.

Iran national futsal team

The Iran national futsal team represents Iran in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Futsal Commission of the Iranian Football Federation. According to the Futsal World Ranking, it is ranked 6th in the world, and 1st amongst Asian Football Confederation members.

Vahid Shamsaei Iranian futsal player and coach

Vahid Shamsaei is an Iranian professional futsal coach and former player. He was a Pivot and he scored 392 goals in international matches. He is currently head coach of Iran national futsal team. Shamsaei has been named AFC Futsal Player of the Year on three occasions. He has also won eight AFC Futsal Championships with Iran. Shamsaei is regarded as the Ali Daei of futsal by the Asian Football Confederation.

Bahrain womens national football team Womens national association football team representing Bahrain

The Bahrain women's national football team was first formed in 2003. The team represents Bahrain in international women's football and thus falls under the governance of the Bahrain Football Association; more specifically run by the women's committee at the Association. Although participating in several friendly tournaments, the team played its first official international match against the Maldives on April 22, 2007 and entered the FIFA Women's World Rankings in June 2007 at 111th out of 142.

The AFF Women's Championship is the competition in women's football organised by the ASEAN Football Federation, contested by the national teams of nations in Southeast Asia. The official tournament started in 2004, hosted by Vietnam and won by Myanmar.

Mostafa Nazari is an Iranian professional futsal coach and former player. He is currently goalkeeping coach of Iran national futsal team. Nazari was selected as the best futsal goalkeeper in the world in 2010.

Ghodrat Bahadori is an Iranian professional futsal player. He is currently Player-coach of Farsh Ara in the Iranian Futsal Super League.

The WAFF Women's Futsal Championship is the West Asian Football Federation's futsal championship for women.

The 2012 WAFF Futsal Championship was the 3rd WAFF Futsal Championship. It was held in Ghadir Arena, Urmia, Iran between 27 April and 2 May 2012.

2012 WAFF Womens Futsal Championship International football competition

The 2012 WAFF Women's Futsal Championship was the second women's futsal championship for the West Asian Football Federation. The tournament was played in Bahrain. The draw took place on 2 April 2012 in Manama. Iran won the tournament for the second time.

The national federation became a FIFA affiliate in 1980. The development of women's football in the Middle East and central Asia dates back only about ten years.

Hossein Tayyebi Iranian professional futsal player (born 1988)

Hossein Tayyebi Bidgoli is an Iranian professional futsal player who plays for Portuguese club Benfica and the Iran national futsal team. His first match with Iran was in 2009 at the age of 20. He was ranked Top Goalscorer at the 2014 (15) and 2018 AFC Futsal Championship (14), and 5th Best Player in the World at the UMBRO Futsal Awards in 2017 and 2018.

The Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) is an association of the football playing nations in Central Asia.

The WAFF Beach Soccer Championship is an international beach soccer competition contested by West Asian men's national teams who are members of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF).

The 2019 West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship was the 6th edition of the WAFF Women's Championship, the international women's football championship of Western Asia organised by the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). It was held in Bahrain from 7 January to 15 January 2019. The tournament was won by Jordan for the fourth time, and Bahrain became the first host nation to not win the WAFF Women's Championship.
