The WOW World Tag Team Championship is a women's professional wrestling tag team championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion Women of Wrestling (WOW). The Mother Truckers (Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag) are the current champions in their first reign.

Contents

History

On January 20, 2001, Caged Heat (Delta Lotta Pain and Loca) defeated Harley's Angels (Charlie Davidson and EZ Rider) in the end of 12-teams tournament to become the inaugural champions. Through the tapings of the revived WOW in 2013, [1] [2] Caged Heat returned as champions, but quickly lost the title to The All American Girls (Amber O'Neal and Santana Garrett).

On May 16, 2019, Adrenaline and Fire defeated Monsters of Madness (Hazard and Jessicka Havok) in the finals of a 12-teams tournament to win the vacant title.

On May 2, 2022, the titles appeared to be vacant again. Miami's Sweet Heat (Laurie Carlson and Lindsey Carlson) defeated The Tonga Twins (Kaoz and Kona) in the finals of a 12-teams tournament to win the vacant title.

The All American Girls (Amber O'Neal and Santana Garrett) has the longest reign at 1,349 days, while Caged Heat's second reign was the shortest which lasted less than a day. Caged Heat and Miami's Sweet Heat have the most reigns as a team with three each.

The Mother Truckers (Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag) are the current champions in their first reign. They defeated Miami's Sweet Heat (Laurie Carlson and Lindsey Carlson) in a Hardcore match to win the titles.

Rohit Raju is an American professional wrestler best known for his time with Impact Wrestling, where he is a former one-time Impact X Division Champion. Before working for Impact Wrestling, he worked over 10 years on the independent circuit in promotions including Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling (XICW), Glory Pro Wrestling, and AAW Wrestling under the name Hakim Zane. He signed a contract with Impact in 2017, where he was shortly repackaged as Rohit Raju and joined Desi Hit Squad. Rohit left Impact in 2022 and currently makes sporadic appearances for All Elite Wrestling, performing on AEW Dark and Ring of Honor.

Killer Death Machines was a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Jessicka Havok and Nevaeh. They were best known for their time in Impact Wrestling. They also competed as a team in the independent circuit most notably for Shimmer Women Athletes and Rise Wrestling, where they are the reigning and longest reigning Guardians of RISE Champions in their first reign. The team would also compete for Women of Wrestling's sixth season as Monsters of Madness in 2019.
