Wade E. Saadi

Wade E. Saadi is an American philatelist who served as president of the American Philatelic Society from 2008 to 2013. [1] Saadi signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2010. [2]

In late 2014, the Board of Governors of the Collectors Club of New York selected Saadi to receive the 2015 Alfred F. Lichtenstein Memorial Award at the Annual Awards Dinner on May 6, 2015, citing Mr. Saadi's contributions to organizational leadership, scholarship, research and writing, and exhibiting. [3]

Saadi was the president of the organizing committee for World Stamp Show-NY 2016, an international philatelic exhibition planned for May 28 - June 4, 2016. [4]

In late 2017, Saadi was awarded Philatelist of the Year, by Delcampe during the MonacoPhil show.

The Roll of Distinguished Philatelists (RDP) is a philatelic award of international scale, created by the Philatelic Congress of Great Britain in 1921. The Roll consists of five pieces of parchment to which the signatories add their names.

Álvaro Bonilla Lara

Álvaro Bonilla Lara won the Lichtenstein Medal in 1965. He was a lawyer by profession. Bonilla Lara was a member of the Society of Costa Rica Collectors and an expert on the revenue stamps of Costa Rica. In 1998, his History of the Revenue Stamps of Costa Rica (1870-1970) was updated by Héctor R. Mena and Oscar C. Rohrmoser as the Costa Rica Revenue Stamp Catalogue (ISBN 0964524767).

Robert P. Odenweller is an American philatelist who is a member of the National Postal Museum's Council of Philatelists and a signatory to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists. He is a member of The Collectors Club of New York, and an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London and the Royal Philatelic Society of New Zealand. From 1996 to 2000 he was President of the Grand Prix Club.

World Stamp Show-NY 2016

World Stamp Show-NY 2016 was an international exhibition of stamp collecting held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City from May 28 to June 4, 2016. It was the first international stamp show to be held in New York since FIPEX in 1956.

Hiroyuki Kanai was a Japanese businessman, writer and philatelist.

Roger Brody is an American philatelist who in 2016 was invited to sign the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists. He is chairman of the Research Committee of the Smithsonian Museum's Council of Philatelists and is a specialist in early twentieth-century United States philately. Brody has received the Alfred F. Lichtenstein Memorial Award from the Collectors Club of New York, and the John H. Luff Award for Distinguished Philatelic Research from the American Philatelic Society.

Cheryl R. Ganz, FRPSL is an American philatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2018.
