Wael Koubrousli / Kobrosly is a Lebanese/French swimmer who has competed at the 2008 Olympic Games, and the 2012 Olympic Games. [1] [2] Wael represented Lebanon in 7 World Championships from 2006 to 2013, at Shanghai, Melbourne, Manchester, Rome, UAE, Shanghai and Barcelona. He recorded more than 20 local swimming records, including in the 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke. [3] At the 2007 Arab Games, he won the silver medal in the 100m breaststroke. [4]

After his participation in the Beijing Olympics, Kobrosly earned a scholarship from Club Nautique Havrais, in Le Havre, France, to study for a master's degree of International Marketing from the "Universite Du Havre" in Le Havre city, where he trained under head coach Christos Paparrodopoulos, and swam alongside Olympic triple medalist, Hugues Duboscq. He carried the Olympic torch at the Paris 2024 Olympic s [5] .

Patrik Isaksson is a former breaststroke swimmer from Sweden, who won several titles in the short course championships. A member of Swedish club Västerås SS, he competed for his native country at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, where he finished in 26th position in the 100 m breaststroke.

Mutaz Essa Barsham is a Qatari track and field athlete who competes in the high jump and is the former Olympic Champion. He won gold at the 2017 World Championships in London, at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, as well as the 2022 World Championships in Eugene. The GCC Games is a regional multi-sport event which involves participants from the Gulf Cooperation Council region. The GCC Games, a quadrennial multi-sport event, was established by the union and first held in 2011. There are numerous long-running GCC Championships for individual sports, including: the Gulf Cooperation Council Athletics Championships football, Archery, athletics, Badminton, sailing, basketball, Swimming, Marathon Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Artistic Swimming, tennis, gymnastics, weightlifting, futsal, snooker, Cycling, Chess and table tennis. The 3rd edition of the game had to be organized in June 2019, but held in 2022 due to the internal issues between the GCC state countries. The 4th edition has been announced and will happen as per the announced dates. For the first time the games will be organized by the new, young and talented faces of GCC team.

Anastasia "Nastiya" Gorbenko is an Israeli competitive swimmer. She competes in the backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and medley. She has won 8 World and European championships gold medals, competed at 2 Olympic finals, broken most of the Israeli national records for women and mixed relays, and is considered to be Israel's greatest swimmer of all time. In February 2024, Gorbenko won a silver medal at the Doha World Championships in the women's 400 meters individual medley. Gorbenko represented Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in swimming in the 100m backstroke, 200m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 200m individual medley, 400m individual medley, 4x200m freestyle relay, and mixed 4x100m medley relay.
