Nickerie is a district of Suriname, on the north-west coast. Nickerie's capital city is Nieuw-Nickerie, the second largest city in the country. Other towns include Washabo and Wageningen. The district borders the Atlantic Ocean to the north, the Surinamese district of Coronie to the east, the Surinamese district of Sipaliwini to the south and Guyana to the west.
Nederrijn is the name of the Dutch part of the Rhine from the confluence at the town of Angeren of the cut-off Rhine bend of Oude Rijn and the Pannerdens Kanaal. The city of Arnhem lies on the right (north) bank of the Nederrijn, just past the point where the IJssel branches off. The Nederrijn flows on to the city of Wijk bij Duurstede, from where it continues as the Lek. The once-important but now small Kromme Rijn branch carries the name "Rhine" towards the city of Utrecht.

Ellen Martijn Hoog is a Dutch field hockey player. She became part of the national team in 2004 and since then has played in 127 matches, scoring 32 goals. She won Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012 and a silver medal in 2016. She is a member of the Amsterdamsche Hockey & Bandy Club.
The Musée de l'Orangerie is an art gallery of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings located in the west corner of the Tuileries Gardens next to the Place de la Concorde in Paris. Ede-Wageningen is a railway station located in Ede, Netherlands. It is situated on the Amsterdam–Arnhem railway and the Nijkerk–Ede-Wageningen railway. The station is the main Intercity station, but is not in the centre of the town. The station also serves Wageningen, a town 8 km to the south of Ede.

Oosterbeek is a railway station located in Oosterbeek, Netherlands. The station opened on 16 May 1845 and is on the Amsterdam–Arnhem railway (Rhijnspoorweg). The station was originally called Oosterbeek Hoog, as there was also a station called Oosterbeek Laag, meaning Lower Oosterbeek. This railway station was located on the Arnhem–Nijmegen railway. The station is the least used on the Amsterdam–Arnhem railway, with less than 600 passengers per day.
The Netherlands Football League Championship 1893/1894 was contested by six teams from the cities Amsterdam, The Hague, Haarlem, Rotterdam and Wageningen. The teams participated in the competition that would later be called Eerste Klasse West. But since the western football district of the Netherlands was the only one to have a competition at the time, it could be regarded as a national championship. This was also the reason that Go Ahead Wageningen participated, as they would later play in the eastern division. RAP Amsterdam won the championship.

Quidditch Nederland, formerly known as Muggle Quidditch Nederland, is the official governing body of the sport quidditch in the Netherlands, and affiliated with the International Quidditch Association and its European Committee. Quidditch is a sport which combines elements of handball, dodgeball, and rugby, and is derived from the fictional sport of the same name from the Harry Potter series. Its current president is Laurent Lardenois, and the Vice-President is Anna Bakker. Quidditch Nederland, then Muggle Quidditch Nederland, was founded in 2014 by Jerona van der Gevel and Bram Vries as part of Quidditch Benelux.
De Vlijt is a windmill located on the Harnjesweg 54 in Wageningen, Netherlands. Built in 1879 it has been in use ever since as a gristmill. The mill was built as a Smock mill and its four sails have a span of 22.30 meters. The mill was bought by the local government and restored in 1978, and it was listed as a national heritage site in 1970.
