Walcote is a village in the English county of Leicestershire.
It is on the A4304 road some two miles east of the town of Lutterworth and a mile east of Junction 20 of the M1 motorway. It is the major settlement of the civil parish of Misterton with Walcote and forms part of Harborough district.

The parish is located in the south of the county, on the border with Northamptonshire, between the parishes of Swinford and South Kilworth. The principal building in the parish is Stanford Hall, Leicestershire. To the south-east it faces the Northamptonshire parish of Stanford-on-Avon, across the River Avon.

Great Ponton railway station was a station on the East Coast Main Line at Great Ponton, Lincolnshire, England. The Great Northern Railway opened it in 1853 and British Railways closed it in 1958. The station buildings were demolished soon after the closure.
Tilton railway station was a railway station serving the village of Tilton on the Hill, Leicestershire. It was also the railhead for Skeffington and Owston. The station was 1.3 miles east of Tilton on the road to Oakham. It was 1.7 miles from Owston and 2.3 miles from Skeffington by public footpath, but longer by road. on the Great Northern and London and North Western Joint Railway. It opened in 1879 and closed in 1953. To the north of the station was Marefield Junction.
