Walter Leschetizky is an Austrian former ice dancer. During his partnership with Elfriede Rupp, he won two national titles and placed 16th at the 1969 European Championships. Competing with Brigitte Scheijbal, he became a three-time national champion. [1] They competed at two European and two World Championships in the 1970s. The duo belonged to Wiener Eislauf-Verein in Vienna. [2]

With her skating partner, David Szurman, she is the 1999 Ondrej Nepela Memorial silver medalist, the 1999 Karl Schäfer Memorial bronze medalist, the 2000 Golden Spin of Zagreb bronze medalist, and a two-time national champion. They competed in the final segment at three ISU Championships – the 2000 European Championships in Vienna, Austria; 2001 European Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia; and 2001 World Championships in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In February 2002, they represented the Czech Republic at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, placing 20th.

David Szurman is a Czech former ice dancer. With his skating partner, Kateřina Kovalová, he is the 1999 Ondrej Nepela Memorial silver medalist, the 1999 Karl Schäfer Memorial bronze medalist, the 2000 Golden Spin of Zagreb bronze medalist, and a two-time national champion. Carolina Hermann German ice dancer

Anna Carolina Hermann is a German former competitive ice dancer. With her brother, Daniel Hermann, she won six senior international medals and the 2009 German national title. They reached the free dance at three ISU Championships, attaining their best result, tenth, at the 2007 World Junior Championships.

Allison MacLean is a Canadian-Austrian former ice dancer who competed for Canada and Austria. With Konrad Schaub, she is the 1995 Karl Schäfer Memorial bronze medalist and a two-time Austrian national champion. They competed in the final segment at four ISU Championships.

Nathalie Weinzierl is a German figure skater. She is a two-time German national champion and has won eleven senior international medals, including gold at the Bavarian Open, Dragon Trophy, and Egna Trophy, and Merano Cup. Minerva Fabienne Hase is a German pair skater. With her skating partner, Nolan Seegert, she is the 2019 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist and two-time German national champion (2019–20).

Julie Keeble is a Welsh former competitive ice dancer who represented the United Kingdom. With Łukasz Zalewski, she is the 1999 Karl Schäfer Memorial champion, 1999 Skate Israel bronze medalist, and 2000 British national champion. During her career with Zalewski and Lasantha Salapadru, Keeble competed in the final segment at three ISU Championships.

Łukasz Zalewski is a Polish former competitive ice dancer. Skating with Julie Keeble for the United Kingdom, he became the 1999 Karl Schäfer Memorial champion, 1999 Skate Israel bronze medalist, and 2000 British national champion. During his career with Keeble and with Jolanta Bury for Poland, Zalewski competed in the final segment at four ISU Championships.

Brigitte Scheijbal is an Austrian former ice dancer. Competing with Walter Leschetizky, she became a three-time Austrian national champion. They competed at two European and two World Championships in the 1970s. The duo belonged to Wiener Eislauf-Verein.

Ihor-Andrij Maritczak is an Austrian former ice dancer. With Daria-Larissa Maritczak, he became a two-time Austrian national champion. They competed at five ISU Championships, including the 1991 World Championships in Munich, Germany, and 1992 European Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland. Their best result, 12th, came at the 1992 World Junior Championships in Hull, Quebec, Canada.

National figure skating championships of the 2017–2018 season are taking place mainly between December 2017 and January 2018. They are held to crown national champions and may serve as part of the selection process for international events such as the 2018 Winter Olympics and ISU Figure Skating Championships. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. A few countries chose to organize their national championships together with their neighbors; the results were subsequently divided into national podiums.
