Walter Raudaschl (born 17 November 1954 in Sankt Gilgen am Wolfgangsee) is a sailor from Austria, who represented his country at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Kingston, Ontario, Canada as crew member in the Soling. With helmsman Hubert Raudaschl and fellow crew member Rudolf Mayr they took the 17th place.
Hubert Raudaschl is an Austrian sailboat manufacturer and former Olympic athlete. He has participated in nine Olympic games between 1964 and 1996. Raudaschl has competed in the second most Olympic Games, behind Canadian Ian Millar and tied with Soviet/Latvian Afanasijs Kuzmins.
Ian Millar CM is a Canadian Equestrian Team athlete for show jumping. He is a two-time winner of the Show Jumping World Cup, and an Olympic silver medalist. Due to his longevity and accomplishments, he is often nicknamed "Captain Canada" in his sport. He holds the record for most Olympic appearances by any athlete in any sport (10). Sailing/Yachting is an Olympic sport starting from the Games of the 1st Olympiad. Walter Schröder was a German rower who competed for the United Team of Germany in the 1960 Summer Olympics. He was hired by the University of Hamburg, where he moved up from rowing instructor to Associate Professor for movement studies. Johann "Hans" Spitzauer is an Austrian former sailor, who specialized in both Finn and Star classes. He was named the country's top Finn sailor in the first three editions of his Olympic career and came closest to the medal haul in Atlanta 1996, finishing in fourth place. After missing out his Sydney 2000 bid, he moved into the Star class and eventually partnered with Andreas Hanakamp to compete at his fourth Olympics in Athens 2004 and with Christian Nehammer at his fifth in Beijing 2008. Outside the Games, Spitzauer was deemed one of the world's most successful Finn sailors in the early to mid-1990s, receiving a complete set of medals with one in each color at the Finn Gold Cup and the Finn European Championships, respectively.
