Arthur Lee Shell Jr. is an American former professional football player and coach. He played as an offensive tackle in the American Football League (AFL) and later in the National Football League (NFL) for the Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders. He played college football at Maryland State College—now University of Maryland Eastern Shore—and was drafted by the Raiders in the third round of the 1968 NFL/AFL draft. He was later a twice head coach for the Raiders. He holds the distinction of becoming the second African American head coach in the history of professional football and the first in the sport's modern era. Shell was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2013 and into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.
Christopher John Doleman was an American professional football defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL). He spent the majority of his career with the Minnesota Vikings, and also played for the Atlanta Falcons and the San Francisco 49ers. Doleman was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and a twice first-team All-Pro, recording 150.5 career sacks. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2012.
Eric Demetric Dickerson is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons. Dickerson played college football for the Mustangs of Southern Methodist University and was recognized as an All-American. He was selected second overall in the 1983 NFL draft by the Los Angeles Rams, and later played for the Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Raiders, and Atlanta Falcons. During his NFL career, he rushed for over 13,000 yards. He holds the NFL's single-season rushing record with 2,105 yards, set in 1984. Dickerson was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999 and, in 2019, was named to the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest running backs of all time. He wore prescription goggles throughout his career due to myopia.
Ante Josip "Tony" Mandarich is a Canadian former football tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. Referred to as "the best offensive line prospect ever" during his college football career with the Michigan State Spartans, he was selected second overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 1989 NFL draft. Mandarich was unable to live up to expectations, however, and released following four seasons with the team. After five years away from football, he returned with the Indianapolis Colts, where he spent his last three seasons. He is the only top five pick in his draft class not inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Andre Trevor Ware is an American sports analyst and commentator, and a former football quarterback. He played in the National Football League (NFL), the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the NFL Europe. Ware played college football for the Houston Cougars, winning the Heisman Trophy and Davey O'Brien Award in 1989. He was the first black quarterback to receive the Heisman. In the 1990 NFL draft, Ware was selected in the first round by the Detroit Lions with the seventh overall pick. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004.
Anthony Hume Dilweg is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for two seasons with the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL) from 1989 to 1990. Dilweg attended Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland, graduating in the class of 1984. He played college football for the Duke Blue Devils. Dilweg was selected by Green Bay in the third round of the 1989 NFL draft. He founded Dilweg, a leading Southern commercial real estate investment firm, in 1999 after spending years as a commercial real estate broker and growing his own real estate investment portfolio.

He played tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons. He was drafted in the 1989 NFL draft with the 15th overall selection in the first round by the Seattle Seahawks He played college football at the University of Notre Dame. He also played for the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins.

He played college football for the Indiana Hoosiers and was selected in the second round by the Phoenix Cardinals in the 1990 NFL draft. Thompson also played for the Los Angeles Rams. He later became a pastor at the Lighthouse Community Church in Bloomington, Indiana.

Hart Lee Dykes Jr. is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for two seasons with the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, earning consensus All-American honors in 1988. Dykes was selected in the first round of the 1989 NFL draft with the 16th overall pick. His career was cut short when he fractured his kneecap and because of an eye injury which occurred during a bar room fight that also involved teammate Irving Fryar in 1990. He was also drafted into the Chicago White Sox minor league system in 1989.

He played college football for the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, averaging over 27 yards per kickoff return, with a career best of 99 yards. As a senior in 1988, he had 39 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles, which was enough to get him selected in the fifth round of the 1989 NFL draft.
