Wang Ya-fen (born 8 October 1969) is a Taiwanese softball player. She competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Olympics. [1] [2]

Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the event was postponed in March 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and will not allow international spectators. Despite being rescheduled for 2021, the event retains the Tokyo 2020 name for marketing and branding purposes. This is the first time that the Olympic Games have been postponed and rescheduled, rather than cancelled. The Summer Paralympics will be held between 24 August and 5 September 2021 after the Olympics.

They won at total of 7 gold, 13 silver, and 24 bronze medals, or 44 medals in total. They improved from the previous Asian Games in 1990, where they won a total of 31 medals. They won the most medals in Judo, where they got a total of 1 silver and 5 bronze.

Simona Halep was the reigning champion from when the event was last held in 2019, but she withdrew from the competition due to a calf injury.
