Watch It Now (foaled 2003) is a Tennessee Walking Horse who won the World Grand Championship in the 2009 Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration.

Life and career

Watch It Now is a black stallion with a blaze face and a sock on his left front foot. He was foaled on March 13, 2003, and bred by Jack Littrell and Steve Roberts of Florence, Alabama. He was sired by the World Champion The Skywatch, and his grandsire was Pride's Generator, a three-time World Champion and noted sire. His dam was Pride of Jubilee, daughter of the World Grand Champion Pride's Jubilee Star. Watch It Now had multiple owners until 2008. [1] His original name as registered with the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' Association was The Titan, but it was changed in 2008 when he was sold to Bill and Sandra Johnson of Waterfall Farms. The Johnsons already had a horse named The Titleist and thought the names were too similar and would cause confusion. They also pointed out that the stallion's new initials spelled W.I.N., which were appropriate since he was a show horse. [2] Watch It Now was trained by Jimmy McConnell. In 2008 McConnell entered him in the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration and placed fourth in two classes, including the Four-Year-Old World Championship. McConnell and Watch It Now entered the Celebration again the next year and won the World Grand Championship. [3] Following his win, Watch It Now was moved to Waterfall Farms to stand at stud for the 2010 breeding season. [4]

Setting Sun was a Tennessee Walking Horse stallion who competed in his breed's World Grand Championship three times. On his first attempt, in 1956, he placed third; he won the Reserve World Grand Championship in 1957 and the World Grand Championship in 1958. He was trained by Sam Paschal. After his wins, Setting Sun made nationwide television appearances. He died in 1976 and is buried near Newport, Tennessee.

Merry Walker was a Tennessee Walking Horse mare. She gave birth to the show horses Go Boy's Shadow and Rodger's Perfection, who won three World Grand Championships between them.

He's Puttin' on the Ritz (1991-2016) was a Tennessee Walking Horse stallion who won World Championships at the ages of two and three before winning his breed's World Grand Championship in 1996.

William Earl Bobo is a Tennessee Walking Horse trainer. He won the World Grand Championship at the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in 2003 with the stallion The Whole Nine Yards. Bobo also showed the notable horse Rowdy Rev, who competed in the World Grand Championship several times but never won. Bobo has been named Trainer of the Year by the Walking Horse Trainers Association.

The Coach (2004-2017) was a Tennessee Walking Horse stallion who won the World Grand Championship in 2010.

Waterfall Farms was a Tennessee Walking Horse farm located in Bedford County, Tennessee. During their heyday, they stood World and World Grand Champion stallions such as JFK, He's Puttin' on the Ritz, Pride's Generator, and Watch It Now at stud and had multiple show horses. Waterfall Farms was later sold and no longer is an operational horse facility.

Main Power is a Tennessee Walking Horse who won the World Grand Championship in the 2005 Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration. He had previously been the Three-Year-Old World Champion in two categories, Four-Year-Old World Champion and Reserve World Grand Champion.
