WAVE is an English-language, monthly magazine published by Annapurna Media Pvt. Ltd. [1] The company acquired the magazine in 2013. [1] Each month, the magazine publishes articles addressing the youth and their varied interests. Apart from touching on the lighter fun side, it also addresses more "serious" aspects - but from a youthful perspective. The magazine has a large impact on the urban Nepali youth. [1]

Weekly Shōnen Jump is a weekly shōnen manga anthology published in Japan by Shueisha under the Jump line of magazines. It is the best-selling manga magazine, as well as one of the longest-running; the first issue was released with a cover date of August 1, 1968. The manga series within the magazine target young male readers and tend to consist of many action scenes and a fair amount of comedy. The chapters of series that run in Weekly Shōnen Jump are collected and published in tankōbon volumes under the "Jump Comics" imprint every two to three months.
Bethany Meilani Hamilton is an American professional surfer who survived a 2003 shark attack in which her left arm was bitten off and who ultimately returned to professional surfing. She wrote about her experience in the 2004 autobiography Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board. In April 2011, the feature film Soul Surfer was released. She now has a new movie called Unstoppable where she shows the struggles and happiness of her family. Hamilton has been in the World Surf League for quite a few years.

The son of actress Mia Farrow and filmmaker Woody Allen, he is known for writing the 2017 articles in The New Yorker that helped uncover allegations of sexual abuse against film producer Harvey Weinstein. For this reporting, The New Yorker won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service, sharing the award with The New York Times. Farrow's subsequent investigations exposed similar allegations against politician Eric Schneiderman, media executive Les Moonves, and Justice Brett Kavanaugh. He is also known for making regular appearances on the NBC morning program Today.

Youth unemployment is the situation of young people who are looking for a job, but cannot find a job, with the age range being that defined by the United Nations as 15–24 years old.
