We've Sobered Up is the debut studio album by South Korean indie rock band Say Sue Me. The album was released on 2 October 2014 through Damnably. [1] In 2017, Damnably released a compilation album Say Sue Me, which added a few singles to this album. [2]
Say Sue Me was formed in 2012, and the album was recorded at their studio near Gwangalli Beach. [3] [4] They explained about the album, "Everyone really loved American indie new music in the '90s, so we added surf music on top of that." [3] Web magazine Indiepost described the album as "The album with a proper mix of 60s surf music and 90s American indie rock." [5]

Best Coast is an American rock duo formed in Los Angeles, California in 2009, currently on hiatus. The band consisted of songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Bethany Cosentino and guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Bobb Bruno. Cosentino, a former child actress, began writing music as a teenager and was formerly a member of the experimentalist drone group Pocahaunted. After a brief stint at college in New York City, Cosentino returned to the West Coast and began recording lo-fi demos with Bruno, whom she met in the Los Angeles music scene.
Damnably is an independent record label based in Stratford, East London. It was founded by George Gargan and Janice Li. Primarily created to promote a John Peel night at The Brixton Windmill in 2006, Damnably then undertook tour booking and evolved into a record label. It has since grown, adding a roster of artists from all around the world including USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, China, Indonesia, France and the UK.
