Web Techniques ( ISSN   1086-556X) was a monthly magazine published in the United States by CMP Technology. It covered topics aimed at web developers. It ran from February 1996 [1] until its last issue in February 2002, after which it changed formats and titles, becoming New Architect . [2] [3]

Optimize was an American monthly business magazine published between November 2001 and June 2007.

PR Newswire is a distributor of press releases headquartered in New York City. The service was created in 1954 to allow companies to electronically send press releases to news organizations, at first using teleprinters. The founder, Herbert Muschel, operated the service from his house in Manhattan for approximately 15 years. The business was eventually sold to Western Union and then United Newspapers of London. The last print issue appeared on June 24, 2013.

<i>Racer</i> (magazine) US motorsports magazine

Racer is an American motorsports magazine based in Irvine, California. Owned by Racer Media & Marketing, it is published eight times a year as a sister publication to the Racer.com website.

TouchWave, Inc., was a privately held Palo Alto, California IP-telephony network switch provider founded in 1997. TouchWave developed a product line called WebSwitch that was designed to replace traditional private telephone exchange systems in small-to-medium-sized companies. WebSwitch was part of a phone system that incorporates communication features provided by the Internet. The rapid success of TouchWave was memorialized with awards and an acquisition by Ericsson Communications for $46M two years after TouchWave was founded. <i>Rap-Up</i> American music magazine

Rap-Up is a magazine launched in 2001 by founder Devin Lazerine. The publication was originally a website devoted to hip hop, until Lazerine decided to pitch the possibility of a magazine to several publishers. The magazine is focused on the hip hop and R&B aspect of the music industry, and predominantly features interviews with artists, actors and other entertainers. Issued quarterly, the magazine's target audience was the 14 to 28 demographic, although the demographic has become older over time.

Intelligent Enterprise was the title of a magazine for business and IT executives who develop and manage their companies' strategic enterprise systems. This magazine expanded on earlier intelligent enterprise concepts, focusing on analytical software tools and underlying technologies for organizing both intellectual assets and transactional data. The print edition ended in February 2007 and the title is used now as a website. Doug Henschen is editor in chief and Antone Gonsalves is web editor.

The Blockbuster Entertainment Awards was a film awards ceremony, founded by Blockbuster Entertainment, Inc., that ran from 1995 until 2001. The awards were produced by Ken Ehrlich every year.

Light Reading Inc. is a telecommunications industry information company based in New York City. Its activities include publishing, data analysis, market research, and events management.

Noggin (brand) entertainment brand

Noggin is an entertainment brand launched on February 2, 1999 as a joint venture between Viacom's Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop. The Jim Henson Company also held a stake in the channel when it was launched. Noggin was initially advertised as both a linear television network and a website. The brand has since expanded to include three mobile subscription services, a second website and four defunct programming blocks worldwide. It was initially aimed at a pre-teen audience, and shifted its target demographic to preschool-aged children on April 1, 2002.
