Weightlifting is one of the sports contested at the 2026 Commonwealth Games , to be held in Glasgow, Scotland. This will be the twentieth staging of weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games since its inclusion in 1950, and the fourth staging within Scotland specifically [1] .
The competition will place between 26 and 30 July 2026, spread across sixteen weight classes (eight per gender).
