Somerville Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir on Yegua Creek in the Brazos River basin, 10 miles (16 km) northwest of Brenham, Texas, United States. The town of Somerville in Burleson County is adjacent to the reservoir. The lake extends into portions of Burleson County, Washington County, and Lee County. The dam lies in Washington County. The dam and lake are managed by the Fort Worth District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The reservoir was officially impounded in 1967, and serves to provide flood control and water for irrigation for the communities downstream. Somerville Lake is a popular recreational destination.
Lake Whitney is a flood control reservoir on the main stem of the Brazos River in Texas. It is located on River Mile Marker 442 and controls drainage for 17,656 square miles (45,730 km2) of Texas and parts of New Mexico. The reservoir encompasses a surface area of more than 23,500 acres and 225 miles (362 km) of shoreline. The area consists of rolling, tallgrass prairies; cedar trees; hardwood timber; and 100 ft (30 m) bluffs and rock points. Lake Whitney is also part of the Texas Lakes Trail Region of North Texas.
Choke Canyon Reservoir is a reservoir in South Texas, United States. The lake and the dam that creates it are owned by the United States Bureau of Reclamation and managed by the City of Corpus Christi.
Lake Waco is a man-made reservoir located on the west side of Waco, in McLennan County, Texas. It provides water to several cities in the Waco Metropolitan Statistical Area, including Waco, Bellmead, Hewitt, Robinson, Woodway and others in the Cross Timbers and Prairies ecoregion of Texas. Rihpojávri or Riehppejávri is a lake which lies in Storfjord Municipality in Troms county, Norway, just to the south of European route E8. The lake is a reservoir that has a dam on the north end. The water leaving the lake flows into the Rihpojohka river which then flows into the Skibotnelva.
Šuoikkátjávri (Northern Sami) or Hyttysenjärvi (Kven) is a lake in Northern Norway. Lake Livingston is a reservoir located in Piney Woods in Houston, Madison, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity and Walker counties in east Texas, United States. Lake Livingston was built and is owned and operated by the Trinity River Authority (TRA) of Texas under contract with the City of Houston for water-supply purposes. The USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 6-9 is also stationed on the lake. The lake is the third-largest lake located in the state of Texas. The Livingston Dam, constructed across the Trinity River about 7 miles (11 km) southwest of the city of Livingston is 2.5 miles (4 km) in length and has an average depth of 55 feet (17 m).
Flassavatnet is a lake in Rogaland county, Norway. The lake lies on the border of the municipalities of Gjesdal and Sandnes. The 0.9243-square-kilometre (0.3569 sq mi) lake sits about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) north of the large village of Ålgård, not far north of the lakes Edlandsvatnet and Limavatnet. The lake is a reservoir with a small dam on the southern edge of the lake. The water level is kept at about 177 metres (581 ft) above sea level. The reservoir holds about 900,000 cubic metres.

Anderson Lake, also known as Anderson Reservoir, is an artificial lake in Morgan Hill, located in southern Santa Clara County, California. The reservoir is formed by the damming of Coyote Creek just below its confluence with Las Animas Creek. A 4,275-acre (1,730 ha) county park surrounds the reservoir and provides limited fishing, picnicking, and hiking activities. Although swimming is prohibited, boating, water-skiing, and jet-skiing are permitted in the reservoir.
Cason is an unincorporated community in Morris County, Texas, United States. It is located on State Highway 11, approximately five miles west of Daingerfield. The community had an estimated population of 173 in 2000. Cason has a post office, with the ZIP code 75636.
E.V. Spence Reservoir is an artificial lake located west of the town of Robert Lee, Texas. The reservoir was impounded by the creation of Robert Lee Dam in 1969, with the support of the Upper Colorado River Authority, to provide a reliable water supply for Robert Lee and the surrounding communities in Coke County. The lake also serves as a recreational venue for fishing, boating, and swimming. Robert Lee Dam is managed by the Colorado River Municipal Water District.
Baylor Creek Reservoir also known as Baylor Lake is a reservoir located northwest of Childress, Texas. The unincorporated community of Carey and Lake Childress are situated to the east of the lake.
