Wendell Wella Rudath (born 7 October 1995), is a Namibian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Jwaneng Galaxy and the Namibia national team.

Career

Rudath began his senior career in his native Namibia with Civics in 2013 in the Namibia Premier League. [1] On 2015, he moved to Black Africa, and there won the 2018–19 Namibia Premier League. [2] In 2021, he moved to the Matswana club Jwaneng Galaxy, and there won the 2022–23 Botswana Premier League. [3]

International

Rudath debuted with the senior Namibia national team in a 0–0 2020 African Nations Championship qualification tie with Comoros on 4 August 2019. [4] He was part of Namibia's squad for the 2020 African Nations Championship. [5] He was called up to the national team for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. [6]

The Namibia Premier League (NPL) was the highest level of domestic association football in Namibia until it was disbanded following the 2018–19 season. The league was established in 1990 and was trimmed to 12 teams from the traditional 16 in 2005. A member of the Namibia national football team, Mbaha competed at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, playing against Ghana and Guinea, and was capped 36 times by Namibia. Mbaha has been deaf since the age of seven. He also plays chess.

Chris Katjiukua is a Namibian professional footballer who played as a defender for several South African clubs and the Namibia national football team. He has played for Eleven Arrows and African Stars in Namibia, and Lamontville Golden Arrows, Highlands Park and Black Leopards in South Africa—before finishing with a gameless stint at Cape Town Spurs.
