John Leroy Hennessy is an American computer scientist who is chairperson of Alphabet Inc. (Google). Hennessy is one of the founders of MIPS Technologies and Atheros, and also the tenth President of Stanford University. Hennessy announced that he would step down in the summer of 2016. He was succeeded as president by Marc Tessier-Lavigne. Marc Andreessen called him "the godfather of Silicon Valley."

Rolf Drechsler is an electrical engineer at the University of Bremen, Germany. He was named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2015 for his contributions in testing and verification of electronic circuits and systems. He was named as an ACM Fellow in 2023.

Skadron also helped co-found IEEE Computer Architecture Letters and served as editor-in-chief from 2010 to 2012.
