The Queen's Club is a private sporting club in West Kensington, London, England. The club hosts the annual Queen's Club Championships men's grass court lawn tennis tournament. It has 28 outdoor courts and ten indoor. With two courts, it is also the national headquarters of real tennis, hosting the British Open every year excepting 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Queen's Club also has rackets and squash courts; it became the headquarters for both sports after the closure of the Prince's Club in 1940.
William Charles Renshaw was a British tennis player active during the late 19th century, who was ranked world No. 1. He won twelve Major titles during his career. A right-hander, he was known for his power and technical ability which put him ahead of competition at the time. Renshaw shared the all-time male record of seven Wimbledon singles titles with American Pete Sampras until 2017 when Roger Federer won his eighth singles title. His six consecutive singles titles (1881–86) is an all-time record. Additionally he won the doubles title five times together with his twin brother Ernest. William Renshaw was the first president of the British Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).
The Eastbourne International is a tennis tournament on the WTA Tour and the ATP Tour held at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club, Eastbourne, United Kingdom. Held since 1974, it is classified as a WTA 500 series on the WTA Tour and an ATP Tour 250 series on the ATP Tour. The tournament is played on outdoor grass courts, and is generally considered a "warm-up" for the Wimbledon Championships, a major tournament, which begins the following week. It was originally just part of the WTA Tour, but from 2009 it was combined as an ATP Tour event. It replaced the Nottingham Open grass court tournament from 2009–2014. Nottingham returned for 2015–2016 with no ATP Tour event in Eastbourne, however Eastbourne replaced the Nottingham event again from 2017 onwards. As of 2021, it is sponsored by Viking Cruises, with past sponsors including Nature Valley and AEGON.
Oliver Golding is a former British professional tennis player and former child actor. Showing promise in reaching a world junior ranking of number two and being the 2011 U.S. Open Boys' Champion., Golding failed to transition onto the men's professional circuit, Never entering the top 300 and failing to win a match on the ATP tour.
The Manchester Open previously known as the Northern Lawn Tennis Championships, the Northern Championships, the Northern Tennis Tournament and the Manchester Trophy was a grass court tennis tournament on the ATP Tour held at the Northern Lawn Tennis Club, in the Didsbury suburb of Manchester, Great Britain. The tournament had been held annually from 1880 to 2009.
Tennis Wales (Welsh: Tenis Cymru) is the national governing body for tennis in Wales. It is part of the British tennis governing body, the Lawn Tennis Association. It was founded as the Welsh Lawn Tennis Assocation (WLTA) in 1887.

It was played at various locations throughout its duration including Bridge of Allan, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Moffat, Peebles, and St Andrews in Scotland. The dates the tournament was held fluctuated between June and August annually.

The Warwickshire Championships also known as the Warwickshire County Championships founded on 1 August 1882 was a men's and women's grass court tennis tournament held at Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England from 1882 to 1938 as part of the pre-open era tennis tour. The tournament is still being staged to today as a local county championship.
The East of England Championships also called the East of England Lawn Tennis Championships was a men's and women's grass court tennis tournament founded in 1885 as the Felixstowe Open Lawn Tennis Tournament. In 1889 the event had by this time become a regional level tournament that ran until 1983 when it lost its status as a senior international tour level event. However the championships are still being staged today as the East of England and an LTA British Tour.
The Ilkley Open was a grass court tennis event founded in May 1885 as the Ilkley Tournament. It was held at the Ilkley Lawn Tennis Club (f.1880), Ilkley, West Yorkshire, England through until 1981, when the it failed to find any new sponsors the tournament ended.
The Hampshire Tennis Championships or the Hampshire Championships was a men's and women's grass court tennis event established in 1878 as the Bournemouth CLTC Tournament. In 1906 the Bournemouth tournament was upgraded to a county level event and renamed as Hampshire County Lawn Tennis Championships that ran continuously until 1981.
The South of Scotland Championships also known as the South of Scotland Lawn Tennis Championships was a men's and women's grass court tennis tournament first staged in 1882 at the Beachgrove Grounds, Moffat, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. The championships ran as part of the international worldwide tour until 1967.
The North of Scotland Championships and later known as the Gleaner Oils North of Scotland Championships for sponsorship reasons was a combined men's and women's clay court tennis tournament first established by the Broughty Ferry Lawn Tennis Club, Broughty Ferry, Dundee in 1889 as Championship of the North Scotland. From 1905 it was then held at Elgin Lawn Tennis Club, Elgin, Moray, Scotland until 1989.
The East of Scotland Championships and later known as the TSB East of Scotland Tennis Championships for sponsorship reasons was a combined men's and women's grass court then later clay court combined men's and women's tennis tournament first established in 1887, and held at St Andrews, Fife, Scotland until 1903. In 1904 they moved to Edinburgh, Scotland until 1989 when they were discontinued.
The Scottish Covered Courts Tennis Championships or simply the Scottish Covered Courts was an open men's and women's international indoor tournament founded in 1962. The tournament ran until 1984 as part of the world wide tour. The championships were the precursor event to the current Scottish Indoor Championships.
Tennis Scotland is the official governing body of tennis in Scotland. It was founded as the Scottish Lawn Tennis Association (SLTA) in 1895. In 1977 the Scottish Lawn Tennis Association dropped the word 'Lawn' and became the Scottish Tennis Association (STA).
