Western Gulf Advisory

Western Gulf Advisory was a supposed asset management company based in Bahrain and Switzerland. It was founded by Ahsan Ali Syed, an Indian businessman. [1]

In 2008 Ahsan Ali Syed, claimed to have $8 billion and then formed Western Gulf Advisory.[ citation needed ] Another employee of Western Gulf Advisory is Omer Khan (their CFO).[ citation needed ]

In February 2011, Western Gulf Advisory and Ahsan Ali Syed purchased the Racing de Santander football club in Spain. WGA was initially touted as a suitor for the New Zealand-based Wellington Phoenix football club after its owner Terry Serepisos encountered financial trouble, but negotiations did not proceed after WGA's assets were frozen by a court order. In 2014 Switzerland issued an arrest warrant for Ahsan Ali Syed over charges of fraud and money laundering in relation to Western Gulf Advisory. [3]

After a string of failed commercial property ventures, by 2011 he had accrued tax debts of NZD $41.4 million, and owed NZD $8 million to numerous banks, prior to his successful application for bankruptcy.

The PNS Ahsan is a naval base located in Makran, Balochistan Province. The base is named after legendary naval intelligence officer and former Chief of Naval Staff Vice-Admiral Syed Mohammad Ahsan. The base is currently controlled by the Pakistan Navy, and the base provides logistics support and surveillance systems operations to ensure the security of Pakistan Navy's infrastructure.

Syed Mushtaq Ali Indian cricketer

Syed Mushtaq Alipronunciation  was an Indian cricketer, a right-handed opening batsman who holds the distinction of scoring the first overseas Test century by an Indian player when he scored 112 against England at Old Trafford in 1936. He batted right-handed but was a slow left arm orthodox spin bowler. He bowled frequently enough in domestic matches to be classified as an all-rounder but only occasionally in test matches. Mushtaq Ali was noted for his graceful batting style and a flair which often cost him his wicket by being over-adventurous too soon in an innings.

The 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup was the 23rd edition of the biennial football competition for the eight members of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation. It took place in Kuwait from 22 December 2017 until 5 January 2018. Oman won their second title, defeating the United Arab Emirates in the final on penalties following a goalless draw.

Ahsan Ali Syed is an Indian businessman. He is the founder of Western Gulf Advisory, estimated to be worth approximately 8 billion pounds. He has an outstanding arrest warrant in Switzerland over charges of fraud and money laundering in relation to Western Gulf Advisory. He is the former owner of Racing de Santander football club in Spain, having been removed from his ownership role in April 2013 when he was deemed unfit to run the club.

Syed Badrudduja was an Indian-Bengali politician, parliamentarian, and activist. He was a member of West Bengal Legislative Assembly, member of Indian parliament Lok Sabha and the Mayor of Calcutta. He was involved with the anti-colonials movements like Khilafat Movement and Civil Disobedience Movement.

Ahsan's Formula was a peace initiative mission dispatched by the Pakistani government to East Pakistan in early 1971. The mission was led by Vice-Admiral Syed Mohammad Ahsan, then-Governor of East Pakistan and commander of the East-Pakistani military, to work out a peace initiative to end the political crises in the East Pakistan to avoid international humiliation of Pakistan.
