The Abitibi River is a river in northeastern Ontario, Canada, which flows northwest from Lake Abitibi to join the Moose River which empties into James Bay. This river is 540 kilometres (340 mi) long, and descends 265 metres (869 ft). It is the ninth longest river in Ontario, Behind the Ottawa River (1,271km), St. Lawrence River (1.197km), Severn River (982km), Albany River (982km), Winnipeg River (813km), Attawapiskat River (748km), English River (615km) and Moose River(547km).
Chignecto Bay is an inlet of the Bay of Fundy located between the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and separated from the waters of the Northumberland Strait by the Isthmus of Chignecto. It is a unit within the greater Gulf of Maine Watershed. Chignecto Bay forms the northeastern part of the Bay of Fundy which splits at Cape Chignecto and is delineated on the New Brunswick side by Martin Head. Chignecto Bay is a Ramsar site.

The Imperial Towers of Ontario were six of the earliest lighthouses built on Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, all constructed primarily of stone, by the Province of Canada. The origin of the designation Imperial is not certain, but some historians speculate that because the towers were public construction built under the colonial administration while Canada was a self-governing colony of Britain, the name would assure at least some funding from the British Empire's Board of Trade.

Like its neighbours, Beckwith Island and Christian Island, the uninhabited island is part of the Beausoleil First Nation.

The community is centred on Route 10, Route 715, and Route 112 intersection and extends south of the island as well. It links travellers on Route 10 - the former Trans-Canada Highway - to southern communities such as Sussex, New Brunswick, Apohaqui Saint John and the Fundy coastline.

Griffith Island is an island in Georgian Bay, in the province of Ontario, Canada. It is one of three islands in Colpoys Bay, and sits to the north east of Wiarton and north of Owen Sound. The other two islands in Colpoy's Bay are White Cloud Island and Hay Island. From the early 1970s, the island has been owned by and in private use of the Griffith Island Club, principally for recreational shooting and hunting. Hence, it is strictly off limits to the general public. The island has an airstrip, visible from satellite imagery, permitting authorized small aircraft to access the island.

Wohoa Bay is a bay on the coast of Washington County, Maine. It is located between the towns of Addison and Jonesport. It features a coastal plateau bog ecosystem not found anywhere else in North America. Three rare species have been found in Wohoa Bay, including the crowberry, blue butterfly and bald eagle. Both West River and Indian River drain into Wohoa Bay.
