Kodiak Island Borough is a borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. At the 2010 census, the population was 13,592. The borough seat is Kodiak.
Wigston, or Wigston Magna, is a town in Leicestershire, England, just south of Leicester on the A5199. Wigston had a population of 32,321 in 2011.
Hinckley and Bosworth is a local government district with borough status in south-western Leicestershire, England, administered by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. Guthlaxton is an ancient hundred of Leicestershire. Its jurisdiction was in the south of the county, and covered Lutterworth and Wigston Magna. At the time of the Domesday Book, it was one of Leicestershire's four wapentakes, and covered a much larger area, including Market Bosworth and Hinckley, which would later be made part of the Sparkenhoe hundred.
Bannaventa was a Romano-British fortified town which was situated on the Roman road of Watling Street, which today is known as the A5 trunk road. Bannaventa is 1 mile (1.6 km) northeast of the village of Norton in the English county of Northamptonshire. The Ordnance Survey grid reference for the centre of the town is SP612645.
The A5199 road is the direct road from Northampton to Leicester in England. It was formerly part of the A50 trunk road that ran from Bedfordshire to Lancashire. For most of its length it is known as the Welford Road, except for small stretches near Welford where it is known as High Street and Northampton Road.

Glen Parva and Eyres Monsell is a civil parish in Leicestershire with a population of over 12,000. The population of the civil parish was measured at 12,189 in the 2011 census. To the north it runs into Aylestone and to the east South Wigston. To the south and west it is not immediately surrounded by development. Eyres monsell originally was constructed as a council estate in the 50s but more homes in Eyes Monsell have been brought by their owners and not rented out by the council. Eyres Monsell then merged with the civil parish of Glen Parva in 2001 and is now considered as a large village and now has its own separate council called Glen Parva and Eyres Monsell Parish Council.

Wigston Parva is a hamlet and civil parish in the Blaby district of Leicestershire, England. The parish has a population of about 30. It is very near the county boundary with Warwickshire. Nearby places include Smockington, and Sharnford. The population of the hamlet at the 2011 census was included in the civil parish of Stanton and Flamville.

The River Sence is a Leicestershire (England) tributary of the larger River Soar. The River Sence can be traced eastwards up to the village of Billesdon, and then flows south west through Great Glen, Leicestershire, and then west until the confluence with the River Soar just to the west of Blaby. Tracing the River Sence upstream, the Environment Agency does monitor the river between Blaby and Great Glen, but there has been no significant flooding in recent years, and the land along the River Sence is largely agricultural. In 1881 Sebastian Evans wrote that the usual names for this river were Billesdon Brook and Burton Brook.
Wolston Priory was a Benedictine priory near Wolston in Warwickshire, England. The earthwork remains of the priory are a Scheduled Ancient Monument. A present grade II* listed house is based on the remains of the rectory.

Kilby - Foxton Canal is a 32.1 hectares biological Site of Special Scientific Interest along the Grand Union Canal and its banks in Leicestershire, between Kilby Bridge, south of Wigston, and Debdale Wharf, north of Foxton.
County Hall Football Club is a football club based in Wigston, Leicestershire, England. They are currently members of the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division and play at Saffron Lane, groundsharing with Aylestone Park.
