Wiidakko are a Finnish indie rock band that was formed in Lahti, Finland in 2003. The group has released three studio albums Uusi järjestys (2006), Asiat joita et voi koskaan saavuttaa (2008) and Wiidakko (2011).

Wiidakko made their breakthrough in an annual band contest Ääni ja Vimma (Sound and Fury) in 2004. [1] Their first single reached #7 in the Finnish Charts in February 2006. [2] All of their three albums have been Albums of the Week on the national YleX radio station. [3]

Parlophone German-British record label

Parlophone Records Limited is a German-British record label founded in Germany in 1896 by the Carl Lindström Company as Parlophon. The British branch of the company was founded in 8 August 1923 as The Parlophone Company Limited , which developed a reputation in the 1920s as a jazz record label. On 5 October 1926, the Columbia Graphophone Company acquired Parlophone's business, name, logo, and release library, and merged with the Gramophone Company on 31 March 1931 to become Electric & Musical Industries Limited (EMI). George Martin joined EMI in 1950 as assistant label manager, taking over as manager in 1955. Martin produced and released a mix of product, including comedy recordings of the Goons, pianist Mrs Mills, and teen idol Adam Faith.

PMMP Finnish band

PMMP was a Finnish band fronted by singers Paula Vesala and Mira Luoti and backed by musicians Mikko Virta, Juho Vehmanen and Heikki Kytölä. The name of the band is often said to be an abbreviation of the sentence "Paulan ja Miran Molemmat Puolet", which can be translated in English as "Both Sides of Paula and Mira". However, in an interview on the Finnish talk show Krisse Show, they stated that the name of the band comes, like ABBA, from the names of 4 of its members: so PMMP is Paula, Mira, Mira, Paula.
