William James Davies (born 7 June 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Fleetwood Town. ^[2]

Career

Born in Ipswich, ^[1] Davies began his early career with Coplestonians, joining Leiston and playing for their reserves before joining the first team in the 2019–20 season. ^{[3] [4]} He moved to Braintree Town in July 2023, ^[5] before signing for York City in November 2023 for an undisclosed transfer fee, ^{[6] [7]} moving on loan to Bromley in March 2024. ^[8] After leaving York by mutual consent at the end of the 2023–24 season, ^[9] he signed for Sutton United in June 2024. ^[10]

Davies signed for Fleetwood Town in June 2025, ^[11] for a transfer fee reported to be one of the largest ever received by Sutton. ^[12] Davies scored 3 goals in his fist 2 games for the club. ^[13]
