Will Heldt (born February 15, 2005) is an American football defensive end for the Clemson Tigers.
Heldt attended Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana. [1] During his high school career he had 190 tackles and 10 sacks. He committed to Purdue University to play college football.
Heldt played in all 12 games as a true freshman at Purdue in 2023 and had 12 tackles. [2] [3] He became a starter his sophomore year in 2024. [4] [5] [6]
After his sophomore season, Heldt entered the transfer portal. He committed to Clemson on December 19, 2024, making him coach Dabo Swinney's first defensive transfer. [7]

William Christopher "Dabo" Swinney is an American college football coach, currently serving as the head football coach at Clemson University. Swinney took over as head coach of the Clemson Tigers seven games into the 2008 season, following the resignation of Tommy Bowden. Swinney's team won national championships in 2016 and 2018. His 2018 Clemson Tigers have often been considered one of the greatest college football teams of all time. He is the winningest head coach in Clemson football history and ACC football history.

The Terrapins played in the Atlantic Division of the conference, and competed against all five divisional opponents, two Coastal Division opponents on a rotational basis, and one permanent cross-divisional rival: Virginia. The Tigers were led by head coach Dabo Swinney, who was in his first full season as head coach. The Tigers played their home games in Memorial Stadium. The Tigers won the ACC Atlantic Division, but after securing the title lost to in–state rival South Carolina in the Palmetto Bowl 34–17, before losing for the second time in the season to Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship Game. Clemson closed the season with a win over Kentucky in the Music City Bowl.
