Willez is a Swedish dansband from Ljungbyhed made up of Linus Troedsson (vocals), Emil Hansen (guitar), Johannes Olofsson (bass), Oliver Brons (drummer) and Niklas Lazukic (keyboards). Originally the band was named Milles after the guitarist member Emil Hansen, but was renamed Willez after they discovered that there was already a band called Milles.

Willez took part in Dansbandskampen in 2010, [1] [2] where they finished runners-up behind the winners Elisa's. The band is best known for the songs "Jag vill vara din Margareta", "Satellite" and "Snälla snälla".

Under this line-up, they released the Keeper of the Seven Keys albums, which established Helloween as a notable heavy metal band and led to the creation of the power metal subgenre. Hansen left the band soon after the release of Part II and was replaced by Roland Grapow. After leaving Helloween, Hansen formed Gamma Ray.

At the 1908 Summer Olympics, a tug of war tournament was contested. Each team consisted of 8 athletes. Nations could enter up to 3 teams. The host Great Britain was the only one to enter more than one. Germany, Greece, Sweden, and the United States each entered one team apiece, though Germany and Greece withdrew. This left 5 teams from 3 nations to compete.

Melodifestivalen 2009 season of television series

Melodifestivalen 2009 was a Swedish song contest held between February and March 2009. It was the selection for the 49th song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 48th edition of Melodifestivalen. Five semi-finals were held in the Swedish cities of Gothenburg, Skellefteå, Leksand and Malmö, with Norrköping hosting the final Andra Chansen round.

Sweden entered the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with "La voix", performed by Malena Ernman. Ernman was the winner of the Swedish song contest Melodifestivalen, which serves as Sweden's selection process for Eurovision.

Long Wong's on Mill was the center of the Tempe music scene, which peaked in the early 1990s, and it was where the Tempe band the Gin Blossoms got their start. PeR that stands for "Please explain the Rhythm" is a Latvian pop and beatboxing band formed in 2007. The original line-up was Ralfs Eilands, Emīls Vegners, and Pēteris Upenieks. Vegners left the band in 2007 and was replaced by Edmunds Rasmanis. But when Upelnieks left the trio in 2011, he was not replaced, rendering the band a duo consisting of just Eilands and Rasmanis. After three failed attempts in earlier years to represent Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest, PeR won the 2013 Dziesma contest and represented the country in the 2013 Contest with the song "Here We Go" and placed last in the second semi-final.

Snälla, snälla is a soul ballad written by Caroline af Ugglas and Heinz Liljedahl, and performed by Caroline af Ugglas at Melodifestivalen 2009, participating at the first semifinal inside Scandinavium in Gothenburg on 7 February 2009. Via Andra chansen, the song reached the final, where it ended up second.

Snälla Py was the 2000 edition of Sveriges Radio's Christmas Calendar.
