William Huskinson Denstone

William Huskinson Denstone (Staffordshire, 1867 - Montevideo, 8 September 1925) [1] was a British newspaper editor.

For a brief period he was editor of the Montevideo Independent (1887-1888); [1] then he founded (1889) and edited The Montevideo Times . [2]

His remains are buried at The British Cemetery Montevideo, plot A 161. [1]

The Heywood Baronetcy, of Claremont in the County Palatine of Lancaster, is a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 9 August 1838 for the banker, politician and philanthropist Benjamin Heywood. He had been instrumental in the passage of the 1832 Reform Act. The second Baronet was High Sheriff of Lancashire in 1851. The third Baronet was a railway entrepreneur and served as High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1899. Denstone is a village and civil parish situated between the towns of Uttoxeter in East Staffordshire and Ashbourne in Derbyshire. It is located next to the River Churnet. The All Saints village church, vicarage and school were built by Sir Thomas Percival Heywood, 2nd Baronet in the mid 19th century. Denstone College is situated to the west of the village.
