George William Richardson (born 26 April 1938) is a former English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire between 1959 and 1965.
Richardson was born at Marylebone,London,the son of Arthur Walker Richardson,who played for Derbyshire between 1928 and 1936 and was club captain for five of those years,taking the Championship in 1936.
Richardson was educated at Winchester College and started his career at Derbyshire in the 1959 season,taking three wickets in his debut match against Worcestershire,and making his top score of 91 in his next match against Glamorgan. Against Kent,in one match he achieved his best bowling performance of 8 for 54 and in the other almost matched it with 7 for 31. In the 1960 season in a single match against Warwickshire he took 6 for 46 and 5 for 35. From 1961 he played intermittently. He played seven games in the 1961 season,but fifteen in the 1962 season. He played three first-class matches in the 1963 season and one in the 1964 season,as well as the Gillette Cup in both years. In the 1965 season he played one Gillette Cup match and six first-class matches in the course of which he took 5 for 57 against Kent.
Richardson was a right-handed batsman and played 107 innings in 69 first-class matches with an average of 15.86 and a top score of 91. He played three innings in three one-day matches and made 39 runs. He was a left-arm medium-fast bowler and took 147 first-class wickets with an average of 27.70 and a best performance of 8 for 54. Richardson was the second of three generations of Richardson family members to play cricket. His son Alastair Richardson played in 1992 and 1993.
Herbert Leslie Jackson was an English professional cricketer. A fast or fast-medium bowler renowned for his accurate bowling and particular hostility on uncovered wickets,he played county cricket for Derbyshire from 1947 to 1963,and was regularly at,or near the top of,the English bowling averages. He played in only two Test matches for England,one in 1949 and a second in 1961. Jackson's absence from Test cricket was largely because his batting was so underdeveloped:his highest first-class score was 39 not out,and he reached 30 on only two other occasions. Between July 1949 and August 1950,Jackson indeed played fifty-one innings without reaching double figures,a number known to be exceeded only by Jem Shaw,Nobby Clark,Eric Hollies (twice),Brian Boshier and Mark Robinson. His leading competitors like Trueman,Tyson,and even teammate Gladwin were far better batsmen.
Harold James Rhodes is an English former international cricketer who played two Test matches for England in 1959. He played domestically for Derbyshire between 1953 and 1975 and played one day matches for Nottinghamshire between 1970 and 1973.
John Richard Eyre is a former English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire from 1963 to 1967.

Ian William Hall is an English former first-class cricketer and professional footballer. He played cricket for Derbyshire between 1959 and 1972,and played football for Derby County F.C. from 1959 to 1962 and for Mansfield Town F.C. from 1962 to 1968.
Gordon Albert Beet was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire County Cricket Club between 1956 and 1961.

Alfred Vardy Pope was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire between 1930 and 1939. He was in the club's championship winning team of 1936 and took 555 wickets overall.
Christopher Herbert Millington Greetham played first-class cricket for Somerset County Cricket Club from 1957 to 1966 as a middle-order batsman and a medium-pace bowler. Greetham was a tall,fair-haired right-handed batsman usually used in Somerset's late middle order and a right-arm seam bowler who,for a couple of seasons in the early 1960s,took enough wickets to be classed as an all-rounder. He was considered a good cover fielder,with a strong and accurate throw.

Kent joined Lancashire to make the second County side to play first class matches against Derbyshire in 1874. Derbyshire won three first-class matches and drew one,making it the only season in which they never lost a match.
David George Doughty,born 9 November 1937,played first-class cricket for Somerset in 17 matches in the 1963 and 1964 seasons. He also appeared in one one-day match in the Gillette Cup.
Kenneth David Biddulph played first-class cricket for Somerset between 1955 and 1961,and later appeared in List A cricket matches while playing Minor Counties cricket for Durham between 1962 and 1972. He was born in Chingford,Essex and died at his home in Amberley,Gloucestershire.
