Alloa Athletic Football Club is a Scottish association football semi-professional club based in the town of Alloa, Clackmannanshire.
Cowdenbeath Football Club is a Scottish semi-professional football team based in Cowdenbeath, Fife. They are members of the Lowland Football League, the fifth tier of the Scottish football league system after their relegation from Scottish League Two on 14 May 2022 following a 4–0 aggregate defeat to Bonnyrigg Rose. Formed in 1881, the club has played at Central Park since 1917. They first joined the Scottish Football League (SFL) in 1905. The club has never won any of the major honours in Scottish football, but have won lower tier divisional titles on five occasions. They competed in the top division of the SFL from 1924 to 1934, but have only completed one further top flight season since, in 1970–71.
Queen of the South Football Club is a Scottish professional football club formed in 1919 in Dumfries. The club plays in Scottish League One, the third tier of Scottish football. They are traditionally nicknamed the Doonhamers but are more usually referred to as Queens or QOS. Their home ground is Palmerston Park.

Willie Simpson Coburn was a Scottish footballer who played as a full-back. He spent much of his career with St Johnstone and also played for Forfar Athletic and Cowdenbeath.
William McKenzie Hastie was a Scottish amateur footballer who made more than 280 appearances in the Scottish League for Queen's Park as a left half. He represented Scotland at amateur level and made one friendly appearance for Great Britain. After his retirement as a player, Hastie became a coach at Queen's Park.
William Sharp was a Scottish professional footballer who played as an inside forward. His only professional club was Partick Thistle, and he holds the club's all-time goalscoring record.
