William A. Hillman was a college football player for Louisiana State University and an executive with the Chrysler Corporation in Detroit. [1]
Hillman attended Minden High School. [1] He was a center for the 1908 LSU Tigers football team which went 10–0 and was selected as national champion by the National Championship Foundation. [2] He backed up Robert L. Stovall. Hillman scored a touchdown in the game against Texas A&M. [2] He was selected All-Southern by Nash Buckingham of the Memphis Commercial Appeal in 1908. [3]

Jerry Lane Stovall , nicknamed "Mr. Everything", is an American former football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He played college football for the LSU Tigers, where he was a unanimous selection to the 1962 College Football All-America Team as a halfback. Stovall played professionally as a safety and punter in the National Football League (NFL) with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1963 to 1971. Stovall served as the head football coach at his alma mater, LSU, from 1980 to 1983, compiling a record of 22–21–2 in four seasons and leading the 1982 team to an appearance in the 1983 Orange Bowl. He was the athletic director at Louisiana Tech University from 1990 to 1993. He is the only player in LSU history to be named a unanimous All-American (1962), be selected to the college football hall of fame (2010), be selected as a first round pick (1963), and to be selected to the pro bowl.
Joseph Kwaku Duah Addai Jr. is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft out of Louisiana State University by the Indianapolis Colts and played for the team for six seasons. He won Super Bowl XLI with the Colts, defeating the Chicago Bears.

Gaynell Charles "Gus" Tinsley was an American football end and coach. He played for the Chicago Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL) from 1937 to 1938 and in 1940. He played college football for the LSU Tigers, where he was a consensus All-American. He was drafted in the second round of the 1937 NFL Draft by the Cardinals, with whom he was an All-NFL selection in 1937 and 1938. During his three years in the NFL, Tinsley set or tied NFL single-season records with 674 receiving yards in 1937 and 41 pass receptions in 1938. He later served as the head football coach at LSU from 1948 to 1954. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1956 as a player.
The 1908 Auburn Tigers football team represented Auburn University in the 1908 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association football season. The team went 6–1, outscoring opponents 158–10. Auburn featured a strong defense that held all but one opponent scoreless. The team was the first during the second term of coach Mike Donahue at Auburn.
Edgar Ramey Wingard was an American football, basketball, and baseball coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at seven different schools: Ohio Northern University (1903), Butler University (1904–1905), Western University of Pennsylvania—now known as the University of Pittsburgh (1906), Louisiana State University (1907–1908), the University of Maine (1910–1911), Susquehanna University, and Bucknell University (1918), compiling a career record of 74–38–6. In 1908, Wingard led his LSU team to a record of 10–0. The team has been recognized as a national champion by the National Championship Foundation, although LSU does not officially claim a national title that season. Wingard was the head coach of the basketball team at Butler from 1904 to 1906 and the head coach of the first LSU Tigers basketball team during the 1908–09 season. He coached the LSU Tigers baseball team in 1908 and 1909 and the baseball team at Maine in 1911. Wingard also coached the LSU Tigers track and field team from 1907 to 1909.

Charles Fred Alexander Jr. is a former professional American football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played college football for Louisiana State University (LSU) and twice received consensus All-America honors, and he was later inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. He was a first-round pick in the 1979 NFL draft by the Bengals.
George Ellwood "Doc" Fenton was an American college football player. He was elected to the Louisiana State University Hall of Fame in 1937 and to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1971.
