Willy van de Wiel (born 15 April 1982) is a Dutch former professional darts player.
Van de Wiel won the 2008 Norway Open, beating Dave Chisnall, Stephen Bunting and John Henderson, before beating Paul Hanvidge in the final. [1] He also made quarter-final appearances in the Swiss Open [2] and the Welsh Classic. [3]
He received a wildcard entry into the 2008 Zuiderduin Masters, replacing Remco van Eijden who withdrew from the tournament to play in the 2009 PDC World Darts Championship. Van de Wiel lost both group games, losing 0–5 in legs to Brian Woods and 1–5 to Gary Robson. [4]
Van de Wiel earned one of the non-seeded places for the 2009 BDO World Darts Championship, meaning he avoided having to qualify for the event. He drew reigning BDO world champion Mark Webster in the first round and lost 0–3. He then reached the final of the 2009 Dutch Open, losing to Darryl Fitton. [5] He also won the 2009 Swedish Open, beating local Anders Astrom in the final. [6]
He participated in the 2010 BDO World Darts Championship, exiting the tournament in the second round after losing 1–4 to Ted Hankey. Van de Wiel won the 2010 Hungarian Open by beating Joey ten Berge 6–5 in the final.
Van de Wiel entered the 2011 BDO World Darts Championship as the ninth seed and defeated Scottish qualifier Alan Soutar in the first round before losing in the second round to Ross Smith.
Van de Wiel lives with his partner Patty in Rijen and together they have a son named Luca (born 2011).[ citation needed ]
Andrew Fordham was an English professional darts player, commonly known as The Viking. He won the 2004 BDO World Darts Championship and the 1999 Winmau World Masters.
Edward Hankey is an English former professional darts player. Nicknamed "The Count", he won the BDO World Darts Championship in 2000 and 2009 and was runner-up in 2001. He moved to the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tour in 2012, but suffered a stroke while playing Michael van Gerwen at the 2012 Grand Slam of Darts and took three months away from the sport to recuperate. He lost his PDC tour card in 2014, when he was 94th in the world rankings. He returned to the BDO, but failed to impress in the latter years of his playing career. His last appearance in the BDO World Darts Championship came in 2016, when he lost 0–3 in the first round to Martin Phillips.
Martin Atkins is an English professional darts player. His nickname is The Assassin.
Martin Adams is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Nicknamed "Wolfie", he is a three-time BDO World Champion and three-time World Masters champion. He represents Cambridgeshire at county darts level and was the captain of England from 1993 to 2013, the longest any player has held that role. From his debut in 1994, Adams made a record 25 consecutive World Championship appearances, before failing to qualify for the first time in 2019. Adams was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2016, but by the end of the year he was given the all-clear. As well as playing, he also acts as a regular pundit and commentator for televised coverage of BDO events.
John Michael Walton is an English professional darts player currently playing in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. He is best known for winning the 2001 BDO World Darts Championship. He adopted the nickname John Boy and used the song "Cotton Eye Joe" by Rednex as his walk-on theme.

Dave Chisnall is an English professional darts player from St Helens who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He began his career in the British Darts Organisation (BDO) and was the runner-up in their World Championship in 2010. He switched to the PDC a year later where he has since reached six major TV finals and won 15 Pro Tour events. Since his switch to the PDC, Chisnall has been a staple in the top 20 of the rankings, appearing in the Premier League five times, and representing England at the PDC World Cup on three occasions.
Robert Hughes is a former Welsh professional darts player. He uses the nickname "Elvis", after his favourite singer, Elvis Presley.
Alan Norris is a former English darts player.
