Wilmas 13(W13)is an almost exclusively Mexican American gang from Wilmington, Los Angeles, California. The gang is made of three sides. East Side Wilmas (ESW), West Side Wilmas (WSW) and the North Side Wilmas (NSW) for each side of Wilmington. [1] All sides of the gang are rivals with each other.
Located on the east side of Wilmington, they were founded near L Street and Hyatt Ave. They have nearly 700 members and have cliques, such as Ghost Town Locos, Hyatt Street Locos, Mahar Locos, Insane Mexican Gang and L Street Maniacs. [1]
West Side Wilmas are located exclusively west of Avalon Blvd. They are known for committing violent assaults with AK47s. [1]
North Side Wilmas are located in the north side of Wilmington, north of Lomita Blvd and have their territory extends into Carson. [1] They are allies with the Realty Street Locos of Carson. [1]
In 1988, Blanco, a member of East Side Wilmas, stopped at the intersection of D Street and Wilmington Blvd, and was gunned down by West Side Wilmas. [1]
The three sides of Wilmas were in an alliance, until 1986 when the 3 sides got engaged in a rivalry after a confutation over a female, it would leave several Latinos dead. They have feuds with major San Pedro gangs Dodge City Crips and Rancho San Pedro gang. However their rivalry would take a backseat when Dodge City and Rancho San Pedro's rivalry got more intense in 1996. [2]

Don Manuel Domínguez e Ybáñez (1803–1882) was a Californio ranchero, politician, and a signer of the California Constitution in 1849. He served as two terms as Alcalde of Los Angeles (mayor). He was one of the largest landowners in Southern California, having inherited Rancho San Pedro in 1825, one of the largest ranchos in California. He was one of the founders of the cities of Carson and Compton and of the fishing village of San Pedro. Today, California State University, Dominguez Hills and the communities of Rancho Dominguez, East Rancho Dominguez, and West Rancho Dominguez bear his family's name.
Rancho San Pedro was one of the first California land grants and the first to win a patent from the United States. The Spanish Crown granted the 75,000 acres (300 km2) of land to soldier Juan José Domínguez in 1784, with his descendants validating their legal claim with the Mexican government at 48,000 acres (190 km2) in 1828, and later maintaining their legal claim through a United States patent validating 43,119 acres (174.50 km2) in 1858. The original Spanish land grant included what today consists of the Pacific coast cities of Los Angeles harbor, San Pedro, the Palos Verdes peninsula, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach, and east to the Los Angeles River, including the cities of Lomita, Gardena, Harbor City, Wilmington, Carson, Compton, and western portions of Long Beach and Paramount.

Santa Monica 13 or SMG is a Mexican-American street gang located in Santa Monica, California, United States. They reside mainly in the Pico neighborhood. Even though Santa Monica 13 is a Sureño gang, they wear their traditional black bandanas. The acronym SM17 refers to Santa Monica 17th Street, which is the gang's primary subset or "clique". They write up "SMG" or "Santa Monica Gang" to show solidarity.
