He was named in the start list for the 2015 Vuelta a España. In May 2018, he was named in the startlist for the Giro d'Italia. In August 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Tour de France.
The 2003 Hel van het Mergelland was the 30th edition of the Volta Limburg Classic cycle race and was held on 5 April 2003. The race started and finished in Eijsden. The race was won by Wim Van Huffel.
Raymond Meijs is a Dutch former road cyclist, who competed as a professional from 1992 to 2001. He notably won the Hel van het Mergelland a record four times in his career, as well as the UCI Junior World Road Race Championships in 1985.
