Rupert Bear is a British children's comic strip character and franchise created by Herbert Tourtel and illustrated by his wife, the artist Mary Tourtel, first appearing in the Daily Express newspaper on 8 November 1920. Rupert's initial purpose was to win sales from the rival Daily Mail and Daily Mirror. In 1935, the stories were taken over by Alfred Bestall, who was previously an illustrator for Punch and other glossy magazines. Bestall proved to be successful in the field of children's literature and worked on Rupert stories and artwork into his nineties. More recently, various other artists and writers have continued the series. About 50 million copies have been sold worldwide.

Maxie's World is an American animated children's television program produced by DIC Animation City. Distributed by Claster Television and Saban International and originally aired in first-run syndication in the United States from September 18, 1989 through October 30, 1989. It consists of one season, comprising a total of 32 episodes, each 15 minutes long. In the series' original run, Maxie's World alternated on weekdays with Beverly Hills Teens and It's Punky Brewster. The series was briefly rerun on USA Network in 1994.
Where's Wally? is an animated television series production based on the Where's Wally? books by Martin Handford, animated by DIC Enterprises, HIT Communications PLC and The Waldo Film Company. The television series aired on CBS for one season with a series of four episodes being released straight-to-video following afterwards. The program's opening song "Where's Wally?" was composed by Michael Tavera. The distribution rights to the show are currently held by Mattel Television.
Nellie the Elephant is a British children's animated television series created by Terry Ward on behalf of FilmFair, Flicks Films and 101 Film Productions Limited in the United Kingdom that ran from 8 January to 19 December 1990. The series featured Lulu as the voice of Nellie, with Tony Robinson providing other voices and also narrating the show. A comic-book annual was released in 1990 in an attempt to further advertise the series, but the annual failed to attract a wide audience.

CatDog is an American animated television series created by Peter Hannan for Nickelodeon. The series follows the zany hijinks of golden-furred conjoined brothers of different species, with one half of the resultant animal being a cat and the other a dog. Nickelodeon produced the series from Burbank, California. The first episode aired on April 4, 1998, following the 1998 Kids' Choice Awards, before the show officially premiered in October of that year. Similarly, the Season 2 episode "Fetch" was shown in theaters in 1998 before airing on television.

Out of these, thirteen episodes - twelve of the first series, and the last of the third series, were written by Mick Inkpen himself. The videos have won awards including a BAFTA award for best children's animation. The show was released on VHS and DVD by HIT Entertainment.
